Gotta admit, United have got it spot on in this game so far.

Defensively with Varane and Martinez, they look a million miles better. Mainoo has been excellent too, and the attackers are keeping City's defence busy.

City playing their usual high line but they have been sloppy all over the pitch, slow play, poor passing, not momentum, no desire.   Unless Pep really lays into them the 2nd half can't see them coming back.  Utd will just sit back 2nd half....oh well I'm sure our new manager will enjoy playing 2nd rate European teams

One of the problems I see Is Bernardo Silva keeps getting the ball on the right yet he needs someone to run in front and no-one has run, similarly when Kovacic broke through where was Foden or De Bruyne running in for the cut back.

Very strange.

I don't know. I don't think Ten Haag is the problem at United.

From most reports the players aren't impressed, and let's be fair they have scraped through this season with more than a few lucky wins here and there.  I mean today City aren't mentally in this game, probably thought they'd just show up and walk up with a cup.   Haarland has been sh*te, like he usually is in the big games, the rest of the forward line isn't working hard enough...and Utd's first goal was something I'd expect from our clowns, not City's.

He’s definitely the problem and won’t progress them up the field.

With the players they have, I'm not surprised.

Casemiro and Eriksen can't run. Maguire can't play in a high line, you have to protect him. Martinez and Varane have been injured throughout much of the season. McTominay is relegation player. Rashford has sulked all season and they have injuries as bad as us.

United's players are never impressed. Player power at United is higher than any other club, their players sulk instead of work and they know they will get away with it. Whoever comes in next will suffer the same problems as the Ten Haag, Solskjaer, Mourinho and Van Gaal. They will have a good start and then when they are asked to take the next step up, they will sulk.

A goalkeeper that doesn't know how to make saves. Even those ones he was getting praised for earlier wasn't good. He was lucky they didn't bounce off the palm of his hand into the back of the net.

I don't think City are a side that clutch game-saving goals at the death. Aguero 2012 aside, I can't recall. Liverpool, Arsenal and Utd do, fairly often. City aren't scoring another.

I'm not only gutted that we miss out on Europa, but how have that god awful, sack of sh*t team won the FA Cup. They were so lucky vs Coventry and then they get to play a hungover City. They are the jammiest of jams.
