I take it you're not aware of the rules refs are supposed to enforce for reckless and dangerous challenges? No?

Thought not.

Was it reckless? I've watched it back a few times and the contact is with his hip, with both Romero and Ederson's momentum from their original actions carrying them together.

The ball is 100% there to go for. If he was late and caught him with his foot, then fair one. But this looks like a genuine accidental collision. I think Romero is a horrible bastard and would be the first to jump and say he's left one in on someone, but this isn't it.

In very rare circumstances, it's preferable to actually lose a game.

Would you rather take a meaningless 3 points that won't alter your position in the table, or take the 3 points and let your rival win the league? I'm taking the former every time. Aston Villa aren't losing 4th, and Sheffield is an easy W, Tottenham's position is secure. I'm not surprised their fans are happy with that, I would be too if it was Chelsea in that position.

Arsenal fans would be thanking them and rubbing it in their faces for years if they were the reason City lost the title. f**k that.

why was he booked then if that’s accidental collision?

For the same reason players get booked when they go to block a clearance and end up catching the player clearing the ball.

In the same way that if Ederson got there second and ended up clattering into Romero whilst trying to divefor the ball, he'd probably give away a penalty but wouldn't get sent off.

To be fair, Spurs played a decent game. It's not like they will win it if they wanted to, that's the myth among Arsenal fans. To beat City in a crunch game like that, you need a manager like Jose or Conte, who will play a certain way, with some luck,  and hope City has an off day. The way Angie's team played, they were always going to be caught out. Spurs did have their luck when Ederson went off, but such is the depth of City, their second choice GK is a better shot stopper 😅 Would Spurs play their game of the season just to hand Arsenal a title? Hell no, they'd take a 12th spot on the table before that happened.  It's all part of building up of dramas, but realistically City was always going to win if they didn't f* up.

Now over to Westham, who needs to become Arsenal legends by doing the impossible, I'm sure they wanted that

Here's one to consider..

Suppose we had to win the last game of the season to stay up, but if we win it Spurs win the League ?.

Every spurs fan wanting us to win .

What dya reckon ?...gotta win it i reckon , ...or swallow relegation just to f**k them up.?...hmmmm, maybe ?

Obviously us win it because relegation would massively hinder the club.

But if winning a game does absolutely nothing for us in the table as it's the end of the season, I wouldn't care about it. Would rather take the L if I'm being honest.

He’s going to Juventus, called it last year.

He’s made a sizeable impact and gets outta dodge at the right time before Brighton totally destroy his rep, especially now we’ve taken their head of recruitment.

Glad to see Chelsea on Sky BUT why have they got Liverpool v Wolves instead of Sheff Utd v Spurs or Brentford v Newcastle

Tbf, Sheff Utd V Spurs is a million to one shot, so I understand that call, zero reason to watch even for the fans of those clubs.

Because it is Klopp.... nothing to play for game but they felt need to show it. Personally think they could have just done a dedication to him after the games have finished but would have made sense to show a game where there is actually something proper to play for.

A few years ago Spurs played west ham away last game of the season, 1 point ahead of Arsenal for 4th spot and their first  CL season.

They had a hotel meal the night before and half the team went down with food poisoning!

They lost, Arsenal won and got 4th spot !

Lasagna - Gate !

Laughably unlucky!

Didn't we deny them the CL spot one season by winning something or other ?
