I think it would be pointless to bring him in at LB.Reckon he will be shifted to LB in the interim while he comes to terms with the physicality of the PL. Long term he will be moved to CM.

Not sure what the point is to buy him and have him play LB when we can simply just buy a LB.He was the most exciting LB in the world when coming through at Boca, one of the biggest emerging talents in South America. Half a season under Rosenior doesn't change that.

All we've seen so far is an uneventful time at Brighton and a frustrating loan spell at Sevilla. I'm not even sure when Rosenior decided to move Barco into midfield but that is when he started getting the plaudits. This again just goes along with my point that if we are going to inevitably replace Cucurella, just buy an actual LB. An experienced one at that.

I’ve heard everything from £8m-£40m.Club won’t release a price anytime soon because they will need to balance both Clubs books and make it work. We still don’t have a price for Emegha.

If Alonso decides to use a back 3 and play him as a LWB, that would mask his height.

May 23May 23 Barco in my opinion having never watched him play apart from maybe a couple of games for Brighton, I see him as a better version of Vitinha with a little bit of Modric and Pirlo thrown in. Crap at set pieces though.

Tuesday at 21:461 day Author I've seen the fee reported to be around 33.5mill. Will need a fair few more sales as what we have done already may have been used up on Palestra, Emegha, Quenda and Barco.

2 hours ago2 hr Any chance we can pull out of this transfer? Same as the Emegha one, absolutely pointless. Just more book balancing between BlueCo clubs. We sold KDH who is 5x the player. Makes 0 sense.
1 hour ago1 hr Don't want a single Argentinian in the squad, cancel the deal and let Strasbourg sell him to someone else.

14 minutes ago14 min The second video showing Barco running onto the pitch to celebrate the goal in front of the England players makes him look like the twat. He looks like some d**khead schoolboy interrupting a grown-up's match. A clip round the ear is what he deserved. They're such an unlikable team. I hope they get destroyed by the Spanish.
