Gusto making a no look pass when in a great position.

Fofana laughing about being sent off.

Someone (some say Tosin, some Santos) not following their man Flemming for the Burnley goal.

The players are not serious. I mean Clearlake are not serious about us on the pitch, guess the players are not either eh?

2 dumbasses and 2 ball watchers. Tosin even screened Enzo from tracking Barnes. Our set piece play is a joke

Don't we have a specialist set piece coach?

True, I forgot that.

How's that working out for us?

The players built legos and had days off since Rosenior's appointment after Maresca's deserved sacking. I think they're doing alright

How do you know? I've not seen any evidence of the quality of their Lego builds.

Perhaps Gusto tried to put the top on sail only to hit the mast and drop it on Lavias foot?

Perhaps Tosin was asked to join Trev and Reece to build their fort only he picked up a Barbie instead?

Perhaps Fofana was working on a beach house with Cole and Joao Pedro but decided he had enough and crashed his model Porsche through it while smiling?

We need to see pictures of their Lego projects! :)

Rosenior taking off Neto at the end was stupid imo. When playing with 10 men always smart to have a player with pace as your outlet. He took him off and we had no width. I think Enzo should have came off at that point. Damaging result. Next week I expect that Liverpool will beat us as I don't see us getting anything from Arsenal. This is our next fixtures:

Arsenal (A), Villa (A), Newcastle (H), Everton (A), City (H), United (H). All extremely tough games and defo will be some dropped points there. Liverpool have West Ham (H), Wolves (A) and Spurs (H) next. Football is not paid on paper but Liverpool will fancy winning all those fixtures. Painful.

It could also be Enzo fault though, if the plan is to have him blocking Summerville

Maybe, but then what the f* was Santos doing there? he's marking no one and also not blocking a run.
I see it as something that comes with the package when you play 21yos and we seem to do a lot of that (see players sitting on the bench).

I really really dislike our midfield: IMO Caicedo, Santos, and Enzo closer to the opposition should only be used against the toughest opposition and even then sporadically -- to stop a known midfield threat from the opposition. Where's the skill and creativity? We are missing a more technical player in that important area of the pitch; remember Fabregas or even Kovacic? Liverpool has Szoboszlai and we've got nobody there.

No, it's clear as day Enzo's mark was Barnes.

I mean Summerville plays for a different Claret and Blue team...so

Even if we do employ 100% man-marking in set pieces (most use hybrid these days), there is the task and there are in-game situations.. More experienced players are more likely to adjust to a challenge because they've faced them a 1000x before.
Even Enzo Fernandez is only 25yo, which shows how young this squad is. If we ever need someone to fill in it gets even younger.

I agree!

I know, didn't want to embarrass the guy

I personally don't much care who was assigned to mark the scorer.

I think that my point was that top, experienced players often read these situations better. Even if it’s not their man, they anticipate the danger, shift over and at least slow or block the runner. That’s the kind of instinct you usually only get after seeing it happen hundreds of times.

Of course the only reason that moment mattered so much is because the game was still alive at 1–0. If we had taken our chances earlier, individual mistakes wouldn’t have mattered at that point. Which goes into the pedestrian midfield (IMO) but that's a deeper roster discussion.

No idea why we're playing Gusto, a centre-mid, at left-back.

Me either. He started out as a free running, attacking right back/ winger and Maresca tried to stifle all his talent and become a slow defensive right back. Madness. The bloke has been destroyed.

Why does Estevao have so many games where he keeps going missing. It is really frustrating!! Several games where he is absent from squad.

He's immature, underdeveloped and prone to burn out, because he doesn't know how to pace himself. Good management.

He was absent -v- Burnley because he had a hamstring issue.

Rosneior could be very well let go at the end of the season.

Domino effect has already begun.

  • Preferred "experience" in Gusto at LB (who is equally as bad at RB) over an actual LB.

  • Blaming the players post match.

This was only for Leeds and Burnley. Imagine his tone/post match presser after this next run of games...

  • Arsenal

  • Aston Villa

  • Newcastle

  • Everton

  • Man City

  • Man United

  • Brighton

  • Forest

  • Liverpool

  • Spurs

  • Sunderland

It is definitely possible assuming we fail to meet certain targets. Question is, if that were to happen do the SD's finally go with him? Or even does Egbhali get challenged for overall board decisions? Unless the board changes their strategy we would just move on to the next project manager. We just gave Rosenior a 6 year contract so would not be a good look replacing him within less than a year.

Aston Villa 0-1 Brenford

Brentford when down to 10 men after 42 mins, no panic no throwing on 5 defenders stayed with same players on the pitch, and then scored, only towards the end did they shut up shop but still left two players with pace on

You mean they subbed defenders on towards the end whilst they were winning? Exactly like LR did?

NO YOU ONLY QUOTED THE BIT THAT SUITED YOU, CONVENIENTLY YOU IGNORED THE BIT ABOUT LEAVING ON PACE, WHICH ROSENOIR REFUSED TO DO

Liam Delap with fresh legs is fast enough to out pace Joe Worrall 80 minutes into a game.
