I think this might have some Bias towards Nike but not sure

The trouble with SWP is whenever he runs with the ball it's usually a foot behind him!! I don't think I have ever seen a professional footballer so regularly go on a run and leave the ball behind!!

How on earth can you be faster WITH the ball than without it? icon_eek.gif300.gif

Or is the ball to some players like an electric rabbit is to a greyhound...? icon_lol.gif

I will argue till I am blue in the face on this one.. I didnt see it at first someone pointed out to me.

Joe Cole is decpetivley quick... Watch him closely compared to other players next match, espcially if he gets a run at defenders icon_wink.gif

I will never forget Guillit either.. someone was writting in the press that he was slow, but he used to cover the pitch it seemed in a few strides. He was amazingly quick but you would never think of him as a quick player

Robben is the quickest player I've seen with the ball for a few years, but I don't suppose it counts if he's in the back of a speeding ambulance.

Joe Cole would be a 'world beater' IF he had any pace.

jesper gronkjaer was incredibly quick with the ball. did sod all with it though.

The young Mr Shevchenko, BHLHP*, was the fastest white player I had ever seen. Breathtakingly quick. In comparison, made Robben look like he was running through treacle.

BHLHP - Before He Lost His Pace

I would say that Ashley Cole considers himself to be a bit of a 'fast player', however, not that fast it would seem, as it all caught up with him in the end.

Would be even funnier if it wasn't so true!!

Maybe speed is measured by how quickly you can turn around to try to beat the same player three times for no particular reason, when a simple pass might be in order instead...

Not if he remembers trying to deal with Agbonlohor - he was skinned
