loz
Apparently Taylor has been sent off after only 2 minutes for a horrific tackle on Eduardo that may well have broken his leg. Even Sky hasve refused to show a reply of it is supposedly so bad.
Alan
The BBC text updates originally said Adebayor. No doubt it will be up on Youtube soon enough. Hopefully he isnt out for too long.
Scott
I turned it on 8 mins in so didn't see it. Brummies up 1-0 though General comments are that Taylor may have been a little unlucky to be sent off.
geezer
Reports are saying photos show a similar break to the one Alan Smith had against scouse. In other words part of his leg was not where it was supposed to be. f**k that's got to hurt.
BlueBeard
Confirmed on 5Live that it's a broken lower left leg. Even worse, Arse just equalised with a dodgy goal
Valerie
Aaaaand now the Arse are 2-1 up Why can't they be devestated over Eduardo and forget to play What's wrong with those people?
Alan
Speaking from experience (I broke my arm in two places playing football when I was 14) breaking a bone is absolute agony. I really hope it isnt career threatening and it looks as if he wont play for Croatia at Euro 2008 now. It's also his birthday on Monday

heckel
that's utterly sickening, not sure it's such a wise idea to post those pics (perhaps edit your post so those that want to look at the link can?). Taylor should be suspended until Eduardo can take the field again.

Taylor should be suspended until Eduardo can take the field again. Not sure I agree. I haven't seen the tackle yet but I've heard that the tackle wasn't that bad. It was just an accident that Eduardo broke his ankle. If so then I don't think it's fair to suspend him. Not even sure a red card was warranted. heckel
surely you're taking the piss!! Studs up into his ankles with his full body weight leaning into his ankle! Here's the _Guardian_ match report's take: "Apologies for not watching the football for a couple of minutes - it's basically a training session anyway - but I've just seen a picture of Taylor's challenge, and it is completely and utterly disgraceful. Flying through the air studs up, he lunges in halfway up the shin of Eduardo's standing leg. The striker's leg clean snaps at a right angle; no wonder Fabregas was holding his head in his hands the minute he saw it. It's going to be an ethical dilemma for sports editors across the country, is this picture." that's utterly sickening, not sure it's such a wise idea to post those pics. jack h
Focusing on the good parts of the game anyone see gallas after the pen whigning all the way down the tunnel and kicked a hoarding
loz
I don't think a picture of a tackle tells you very much. You really have to see a video of it and admittedly I haven't yet so can't really comment on it. Reports I have read have varied all the way from 'horror tackle' to 'not actually that bad'
heckel
looking at the tackle in realtime on the other thread I agree that it would be hard to say there were seconds of premeditation (a la Roy Keane). However 2 things are obvious to me about Taylor's challenge 1) just like Stephen Hunt on Cech, once beaten he doesn't try to pull out of the challenge 2) why the f*ck were his studs up and halfway up Eduardo's shin? jack h
sky sports news just showed post match interview with wenger he said that Taylor shouldnt be allowed to playt and that teams are always kicking arsenal blah blah were angels etc etc. IMO dispite being an awfull injury thats going a bit far. surely hes not stupid enough to think taylor meant it
