The player that played well in the match was Petr Cech. Apart from the mistake that lead to the winner he was excellent and the amount of saves that he made in the match justifies the view that I take.

Loz this is the first time that i have seen you describe Chelsea in such strong terms.

I wanted to say a fewthings after tonights perfomance. First of all why does chelsea not have someone who can make a genuine pass like fabregas so often does, or make the great runs on defenders as robben used to do or lennon who still does. We donot need SWP anymore. What's he there for.

Also we donot need Essien or Mikel. Both are sh*t. They cannot make a single thruogh pass. All they can do is keep on shortpassing or returning the ball to our keeper.

Totally agreed on your comment.. if essien or mikel can pass balls like that.. Perhaps you and me can play fot chelsea. Rubbish gameplay..

Difficult to pick out a player from that inept performance...

Bridge did quite well, except for the penalty which i thought was very harsh anyway.

Essien did okay as well.

Joey Cole for the brief minutes he was on.

Overall i'd probably say Bridge just shades it.

I couldnt give it to Bridge sorry, but you got to keep your hands away from the ball Bridgey, should know that one by now !

In the end i gave it to Drogba for no other reason than making Robinson look like a statue for the goal.

Cech gets it for me, for some great shot stopping. But it was his mistake that lead to Woodgate's goal.

Followed by Bridge. But it was his mistake that lead to the penalty.

Both of which sums up the match really. That our two 'best' players were the players that cost us the final.

How on earth has drogba got any votes he was a disgrace

Can you imagine if Ashley Cole had handled the ball and not Bridge? Jeeeeeezus Chr*st, there would be ANARCHY on here, calling for his head.

In any case, he got forward well and although made that f*cking stupid error, he had more passion to take the bull by the horns than most did. My vote goes to Bridge.
