The perfect hat-trick by the Albino. Left foot, right foot and header.

Only truly brilliant strikers get those sort of hat-tricks. Brian M taught us all that. icon_wink.gif

What makes it even better is Tottenham had 11 players on the pitch for Forssell's one.

Selling Forss to Brum was one of JM's biggest mistakes...BTW he wore black armband in the Arse*al game as he grieved the injury that probably ended his biggest idol's Ronaldo's career...

Unfortunately, (and as much as I hated to see him go), selling Forssell has proved to have been exactly the right thing to do.

JM had good look at him and knew that the knee injuries had been too frequent and too severe. It's been the same at Brum. He's had a hell of a lot of time out through injury and when back has struggled to find form and fitness. Still a class act on his day and one of the most technically accomplished forwards in the EPL.

Sadly Just is right. As much as I hate to say it you always know another Forssell injury is just around the corner - touch wood I am wrong as he, more than most, deserves to see out the rest of his career totally injury free.

Great talent when fully fit and playing with confidence and you have to admire his courage to keep bouncing back time and time again.

I really had high hopes for the Forss, and when we sent him off to B Monchengladbach, they LOVED him there. Remember seeing a huge section of the BM fans all holding up coloured cards to form the Finnish national flag.

However, he was too often sidelined, and I don't think it was a mistake to sell him. As great as it might be to see him on the rise again, he suffered (albeit slightly less) from Robben syndrome

Forssell was never going to stay at Chelsea. He wanted and needed to play more regularily and at Chelsea he wouldn't be getting that. The irony is that he hasn't started regularily at Birmingham either, even when he's been fit.

Should have stayed. Has enough knee cartilage to last him to 27 or 8, classy player- has everything as his goals scored. a season without a serious injury and he'll be in great shape, just a pity to see him at these sides that don't pass so much now.
