dkw
how incredible was that penalty? after what hes been through this last week, and the crap hes taken of the media and other fans for the last 2 seasons it took incredible nerves to score that pen. if we didnt know before hand then we certainly know now, this bloke is a chelsea legend. Gem
No arguements here, took great strength to even play let alone take the most crucial penalty in Chelsea's history. Also as they said post-match, don't focus on his penalty, he was impressive all round tonight. CFC true blue.

SydneyChelsea
I didn't cheer, yell, or even break into a smile when he scored. Not sure if it was my TV coverage but the noise at the Bridge just seemed to fade out and I cried when Lampard kissed his armband and the pitch. Guest ZolaPower
I had tears in my eyes when he banged it home. Was anyone at the match that can speak about the roar after he banged it home? I'm sure it was insane.

c3blu
The upper tier of the Mathew Harding stand was swaying when he scored, and i mean swaying. It was superb. I must admit thinking 'give it to Ballack, its to much for Frank'. What a player, what a man. What a legend.

BLUENUT
People around us were saying Ballack should take it, I must admit after the Utd game I tended to agree, but I was thinking 'he's gonna do this for his mum.' As he stood there with the ball I was shouting 'Cmon on Frank you did it for England (refering the the Crotia game) do it tonight.' I'm sure he was as nervous as me but showed MASSIVE charater to play the game let alone take a decisive penalty at that stage of the game. SUPER FRANK! - WELL DONE MATE - YOU'RE ONE OF US, PART OF THE CLUB. Even if he decides to ply his trade elsewhere, he's a Chelsea legend. Tim
Martin Samuel's article in the Times today nearly had my crying again. It's a bit OTT, but Frank sure as hell deserves some admiration from the press after the bile they've thrown at him in recent years.
