ChrisC
Awesome, both Man U and Arsenal have dropped points in their opening games. Hopefully Chelsea will win tomorrow and can maintain the results. Let's hope we don't throw away silly points against easy teams
Englishman
its funny isnt it. all them attacking players and still a sh*t defence. And after all that hype about them turning the corner. Trouble is when you keep turning corners you end up going round in circles...
BackInBlue
Certainly seems like all the teams outside the top 4 have improved this season, well all except Spurs of course.

g3.7
Yes and guess which defender let his man score the winner was appalling defending by anyone's standards, he's fallen away badly since his move (compared to what he was in his prime with us). a very satisfactory day, aside from the liverpool ending. boro and sunderland look massively improved from what I've seen. increased the quality of their football a lot. coco
Wenger may be a great manager, but picking Gallas as captain is a massive error.
callista
There was I paint brush in hand, considering if bright pink in the kitchen really was such a great idea after all and listening with barely concealed glee (okay I has jumping around in delight) as Boro inched ever closer to an apparent point against the "mighty" Liverpool, Rafa "just call me Mr Teflon" Benitez and HRH Stevie G, when it got to the dying minutes and sudden horror dawned....surely Saint Steven wasn't going to get Rafa out of the S H I T again in the dying seconds? Nah it was never going to happen, not again, Boro could hang on, they'd been playing great. :D
loz
Wenger may be a great manager, but picking Gallas as captain is a massive error. Not his only one either. For all the talk of Wenger being great at putting his faith in youth there is no getitng away form the fact that he has taken a player in Walcott (tipped to be a huge star of the future) and is currently killing his career by trying to turn him into the right winger he will clearly never be. He is also guilty of having a ridiculous stubborn streak. A midfield that is physically weak will nevr win the Premiership yet for some reason he persists in having one. Since losing Seaman they've gone through a variety of mediocre goalies, and still the best he can find is Almunia.
goose
I'm with you on this Loz about Wenger. He's often quoted about being a great manager but I think his arrogence has got the better of him. He was too arrogant to replace players who were great for him with quality, the likes of Pires, Lunberg, Vierra and henry. He tried to bring on younsters who just weren't up to the task. At no stage last season did I ever think that we were ever going to finish behind them. to win the Prem you need strenght and depth to your squad because somewhere along the the line players get injured or loose form. Arsenal just don't have the squad to compete in a full hard season. With all his big talk about relying on his youth and they're good enough I think he's dug himself a hole where he's too proud to come out and spend big money on quality. Of course with that new stadium, which is costing a fortune, he may not have the money to spend. I think this may be his last season, if he even lasts the season as arse fans are getting really pissed off with winning nothing.
