I don’t think they need to worry too much about sell on value of the older players. Hendo,Wellbeck and Martinez cost less than we lost on Kellyman. In a few years time some of our current squad will be the experienced players through natural evolution of the team and their careers. As long as there’s a blend we will be ok.

Unless we are determined to get a replacement lined up prior to any announcement, it is looking increasingly likely that he stays.

Really not opposed to this at all. MGW is a fantastic player and would compliment the front 3 perfectly. Personally, prefer him to Scott. Obviously Adam Wharton is the dream transfer but with Palace’s start and their ownerships unwillingness to lose too many key pieces ever year that deal is as good as impossible.

MG-W is the last player we need. He's ring-fenced at Forest anyway. Midfield the priority. Brighton played straight through, as did Fulham. That, and the backline has no defensive protection.
