  1. Past hour

  2. Carrick is clueless way out of his depth, he wants to shoehorn players into the team, in pre season Mbuemo played every game as a striker, and he has played Cunha there in both games who is crap, biggest waste of money is Tierlemanns who keeps giving away the ball
  3. United losing to Ipswich. It's mad, it's like they have gone back to Solskjaer days. Rashford back in, the clown Maguire in defence, Shaw in there too.
  4. Adds a lot to our attack, but badly needs to up his defensive work. He has been at fault for goals in both games by not doing his defensive duties.

  6. As business cases go I don't think Alonso could have set it out any better. Clearly Lavia and James need a stronger presence alongside them, the rubbish Gusto doesn't belong here, and Caicedo re-injured in 12 minutes. He must be given the tools in these last two days. Personally I'd still like another grown up CB as well as I am still not totally convinced by Colwill tbh
  7. Watching back he made a mistake but that should not lead to a goal. Everyone switched off for the quick throw in , Rodger’s had no urgency to stop the quick throw and Colwil is just tragic and it’s not like he was any different before injury he was just as erratic and error prone.
  8. It was enjoyable to watch. Brighton were never that close to us - a deflected second goal hardly had me in a sweat. Some lovely football going forward. Better than Rosenior. Best few games ive seen for a while. Up the Chels.
  9. Because we are a lot more direct in attack, we get a bit more out of him. He made a big error when we went 3-0 up though. Panicked and rushed to the Brighton attacker and left us badly exposed when he just needed to contain. We need Palestra and Chavarria on the pitch, wing backs that have a more natural understanding of the defensive game.
  10. Thank f**k the guy who would have scored the equalizer last year was sitting on our bench lol
  11. No wonder the recent links to CM and why Enzo wants out. He would have been terribly exposed
  12. There is the idea of Gusto the footballer and there is Gusto the footballer Both are trash.
  13. Calm. We’re the most exciting side in the league going forward. The defence just needs to find its feet and what rotation sits best (Josh, Lacroix & Fofana for me so far) Palestra is still to come back which stops the Gusto show. RJ can also slot in at any time. Caicedo & Lavia SHOULD be our starting CM pair IF both are fit, yes we could maybe strengthen with a signing for the depth options. 6 points from 6. Attacking football. A competent GK. C’Mon guys stop moaning, just think back to last season, it could be a lot lot lot worse.
  14. All valid, I'll wait until a few more weeks down the line and give him the benefit of the doubt, we need this midfield situation sorted before the end of the window for sure otherwise we can expect more of these types of games.

  16. Whaaaat ? Conceding 3 on his debut, at home as well. Martinez out......We want our Sanchez back 😉
  17. Top 3 guaranteed? Every season when we’ve won our first two PL games since the start of the Abramovich era. 2003/2004 (2nd) 2004/2005 (1st) 2005/2006 (1st) 2007/2008 (2nd) 2008/2009 (3rd) 2009/2010 (1st) 2010/2011 (2nd) 2012/2013 (3rd) 2013/2014 (3rd) 2014/2015 (1st) 2016/2017 (1st) 2018/2019 (3rd) 2021/2022 (3rd) 2026/2027 (?)
  18. I always struggled to see what many others see in him. If he’d arrived from Strasbourg he’d probably be getting a much harder time from fans.
  19. Please Alonso I beg.
  20. How Gusto stayed on the pitch is astonishing. Frightening if he's the only option.
  21. Think he needs to tell Rogers to track back more, I like him up front but he’s not putting in as much of shift as Palmer and João when off the ball
  22. Don't think my hearts going to cope with games like these this season. It's like Newcastle under Keegan so far. I'm loving the wining but I've now got even more grey hair.
  23. Unless we get at the minimum 2 new midfielders and sort out that defence we are going no where even if we only play 1 game a week
  24. Very early in the season, but he has been our worst defender so far. He came back strong after his injury last season, but now he is starting on equal footing with everybody else, and we are really seeing the affects of an ACL injury. Always a step behind the opposition player, never gets in front of them, mistiming headers, not getting a good leap. It happens to every player after this injury, it's going to take time.
