Cech might not have had a majpr problem with crosses and corners but seeing Courtois make it look a lot easier just shows there was room for some imporvement. Nothing against Cech i love him to bits but we have to look to the future. In an ideal world Courtois would be a few years younger and could start playing for us just as Cech was hitting the end but we play the cards we are dealt and we have been dealt 2 of the top 5 keepers in the world.

Shame this hasn't worked out. Clearly he isn't impressing in training which is why he has hardly had any game time.

Did a lovely little run Vs newcastle too but scuffed the shot and Coloccini managed to get it away, although i thought it would be missing too. He does seem to lose the ball quite a bit during build up at times but other times he seems to click perfectly. Certainly in sync with Hazard and Oscar and it shows in the movement inside and around the box. Stuttered a little recently but i think the last match would show he still knows how to knock it into the back of the net. It feels so damn good to have a proper goal scoring striker back at the club.

As mentioned his injury status could be a major concern as is his age. Depending on how we use him both of these conerns can be minimised but the cost of his wages would probably still be too much to bother with. Don't see much weight behind this story at all.

Will pick Courtois everytime. I remember the past few seasons how corners and crosses into the box were always a nervous affair (might be exaggerating a little?) but now they are mostly dealt with comfortably by Courtois. He seems so calm and with an improved defence infront of him we will be piling up the clean sheets. Thank you for everything Cech, a legend without a doubt. But please play outside of the EPL when you leave.

Dreaded ground, not the ebst recent history at all. But i can genuinely see us putting at least 3 past them.

I am nervous. Our defence is nowhere near as solid as last year and with luis replacing dave just adds to it. To make it worse for our defence uniteds attack is monstrous so if it clicks it is a scary thought. Costa whether he plays or not will not be at 100% and Drogba as much as i love him is nowhere near the premier league pace. We need to start quick and attack hard. Open a lead and build ASAP. IF it goes into half time 0-0 or with us behind i would be chewing my fingers off.

Was amazing for us, but looking back i can see why Jose wanted to get rid of him. 38million was a nice fee. I can see him leaving united in summer 2015 latest.

Heres to hoping he plays on sunday, i think he will be fit for the match. Remy wont be on the bench, it will be Drogba on the bench or starting if Costa is unfit. Will schurrle be back by then?

The touch to bring it back onto his right foot is perfect too. He needs to learn to be a little bit more selfish and more clinical. Missed some good chances because he was busy trying to be fancy or looking for someone to pass it to.

What a game he had. Played a part in the first goal. An assist for the 2nd and 3rd. THAT pass for the second goal was orgasmic. I think i'm in love.

Good match for him. A little disappointed when he had a few chances to release Costa but either didnt or went for it himself. Great run and finish for his goal.

Say what you want about torres, as bad as he is and as much sh*t as he gets atleast he sticks around and puts some effort in for the club. If you try your best and it isn't going your way, fair play to you, but if you're not trying at all then you're not needed.

Great goal was lovely to watch. Lets not get carried away though, a certain Shevchenko also scored in his first game for chelsea if a recall correctly. Keep it up Costa. Few goals and the confidence will be in him and the team.

Fgs, he needs to stop getting his knickers in a twist, man up an fight for a place in the side! Needs to accept the fact he isn't the number 1 choice and he won't be the number one choice unless he works for it. He can either accept that and fight for a place at one of the best clubs in the world or he can go elsewhere and play for a mid-table team.

If jose feels COsta is good enough to lead the line then its good enough for me. I just hope we keep hold of lukaku
