CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!(and Wales) WE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!!
We can now just sit back and wonder how many we are going to win the league by - safe in the knowledge that it doesn't really matter because we've won it - but it could be a stroll in the park!

Exactly! I thought when I spotted all those points they were going to roll over for us. But they did a good job of making it look good

CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!(and Wales) WE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!!
Sorry if this has been done to death - I haven't kept up on here (too busy watching the match) but....... West Brom had a Madnes style cover, they played Liquidator immediately before kick off, an Pulis's shirt looked suspiciously Chelsea coloured! If I didn't know better, I would've thought they wanted us to win!

CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!(and Wales) WE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!!
The annoying thing is, West Brom is possibly my most local game all season (not sure between it and Stoke) and I couldn't get a ticket! :(

CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!!!(and Wales) WE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!!
When we scored, the guy on the next table said "oh you're West Brom fans I guess"? So I said, "no we're Spurs fans". Monday is going to be a party!

He tried to say that they were going to beat us in the FA cup final and that no-one else would go unbeaten all season. I laughed to the first and said I'd rather have record number of points than no losses but lots of draws. The funny thing was, when I said nothing since 2004, he said it wouldn't happen again and I genuinely thought he was saying they'd never win the league again until he clarified that he meant no-one would go unbeaten. Who the f**k cares? It's titles that matter.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking! Think I'll go to my local instead. Or even my living room!- WBA Vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 12/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
Yeah I agree I'd rather see us win it at home. But the important thing is to win it I guess!- WBA Vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 12/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
Oh yes - but am torn between wanting to win it then or waiting til I'm at the Bridge on Monday. Bah, who am I kidding, I want to win it on Friday. The sooner the better. And then Monday and the Sunderland game is party, party, party! What about you? Was half tempted to go along to WBA and find a pub but think it might fall flat so will probably go down a local unless someone convinces me otherwise. Is it going to be worth it? (I should add it's not that far from me - about an hour to an hour and a half away)- WBA Vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 12/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
What???? What the f**k is it on then? BT?- WBA Vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 12/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
But he looks pretty and speaks semi-literately (until you listen properly) so hence why they use him. It's all about how they look rather than what they say.- Another pub bites the dust?
Yeah and fair play to him that he actually acknowledges the rhyming slang in his twitter profile! No matter what you think of his music, he has a very good sense of humour!- Another pub bites the dust?
Oh thanks for that - well so far it is still a pub - but a closed pub not an open one!- Another pub bites the dust?
Sad to see that the Fox and Pheasant was shut on Monday. I heard someone say in the Chelsea Pensioner that it was permanent so I did a google search and rumour has it that James Blunt has bought it! Can't see if remaining a match day pub if that's the case. I have tweeted him asking him to make sure it's open on Monday as I missed my pre-match pint. I will report back if he replies!- Which title win feels the most special?
Of course all are special in their way but: 2004-5 - the first which I never thought I'd see, so cannot be matched This year (fingers crossed) - because I really, really, really did not expect it. I would have bitten your hand off for second. Or third. Or fourth. Hey, even fifth I'd have shrugged and thought "we can build on that". 2010 - that last game against Wigan. Only started to feel comfortable at 3-0 against 10 men! 2015 - really enjoyed it, thought it was the start of a dynasty (maybe?) but it's turned very sour. Can't bring myself to watch that season's dvd. Probably on an equal with 2010 if not for bad post-season fall-outs 2005-06 Particularly remember the game against Manure. Watched it in our local with Manure fans. Good memories but slightly pipped at the post by other years.- who else is feeling more skeptical about winning the league as each fixture approaches?
That would be so, so funny! I almost wish you hadn't put that thought in my head because now I'm going to be upset if it doesn't happen.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017
Nicked off Twitter: At the start of Uniteds magnificent unbeaten run they were 6pts behind Chelsea. 26 matches later, gap now 16. sh*te and At the start of Uniteds magnificent unbeaten run they were 6pts behind Liverpool. 26 matches and a Liverpool collapse later, gap closed to 5 The most pointless unbeaten run of all time. Gained no ground on top 4.- Cesc Fabregas
No it's our song for him. Though I think we might have lifted it from another team about another player. Apart from the "he could have signed for Arsenal but he said no f**k that" obviously. I have heard arsenal fans sing it to Cech which sort of makes sense given he does actually wear a hat. But they stole it from us.- Chelsea Vs Boro (PL) Mon 08/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
Brilliant summing up. Just to counter-balance the great memories from this season, the home match agains Liverpool was one of the low points in my watching Chelsea. We were dire from kick off. I had struggled to get down to London with a landslide affecting trains from the Midlands. The whole evening, bar meeting my son for a drink was awful. Who'd have thought that night how the season would pan out? Not me for sure! The next two matches I went to - home against Manure and Everton - were in stark contrast! - WBA Vs Chelsea (PL) Fri 12/05 2017 KO 20:00 GMT
