Our goal next season is top 4. We've achieved top 4 with Kepa previously, so I'd rather we focused on sorting out the attack. We can improve on Kepa next Summer.

Mount deserves to be one of the top 3 earners in the squad, based on his past few seasons with us. If that doesn't fit within our wage structure, that's because Boehly and his gaggle or clowns have come in and given new players too much money. Feeling under-appreciated is not a good motivator, so I can see why Mount wants out. Overall, it's quite a depressing state of affairs, and I think Mount would've been perfect under Pochettino. Utd fans seem underwhelmed currently, but there's no doubt in my mind he'll be one of their top performers and they will love him by next year.

And for me too. Always made the most sense. We need to be realistic about where we are: we're trying to bed in a lot of new, young players, and get back in the Champions League. Of all those available, Pochettino seems the least risky appointment. He also seems an even-tempered guy so I'm sure d**khead Bohely will enjoy his company and Whatsapp bants.

Yeah, I agree. It's actually quite depressing. It feels like they've decided they need to sell (to fund half the dross we've signed), so are just completely squeezing him out. They're probably scared of him showing his worth to the fans. If we sell Mount to fund that unlikeable ass Felix... I'm lost for words. Boehly needs to climb back up his own ass and disappear forever.

We were better under Lampard that we ever were under Potter. Not to mention a huge lift for the fans and probably for the players too. This season has big a big old pile of sh*te, but it's just gotten a little bit better. Not sure what everyone else was hoping for? JC in as Interim? Speaking of which, this is Frank's JC moment.

What's interesting here is that Lampard did better within the restraints of a transfer ban. His sacking was in part owing to a bad run of form off the back of a lot of money spent on transfers. Those included: Chillwell Werner Ziyech Havertz Other than Chillwell, you would have to say the other three have mostly failed (or struggled) under both Tuchel & Potter, so arguably the players just weren't up to par. So I wonder if, given Lampard did so well at bringing through some academy players, if Boehly & Co want to see a new perspective on some of our recent signings? We'll definitely need to clear a lot of players out this summer.

Hmm. Maybe just to change it up a little, but I would quite like to see Luis Enrique given a go now. Not sure I like the sound of Nagelsmann's Potter-esque tinkering. On paper, we do have players that could be playing a similar style to City/(hate to say it but)Arsenal. And I think fans would be more patient with whoever comes in if they seem to be developing a fixed style of play. Hopefully it'd be a less boring version of what Sarri played. We have a much better defence and midfield that when Sarri was here, too.

It's a tough one. Obviously the dream is that someone comes in and manages to turn us into winners immediately (as with Tuchel), but given how much of a mess this season has been, it's unlikely that anyone will be able to do that. So my thinking is we need someone in who will be able to develop a style of play, improve the young players, and make top 4. Then after that potentially we're set for someone else (like Mou after Ranieri) to take us 1 step further. I think it's an unpopular opinion, but I really wouldn't mind Pochettino. He turned Spurs into a very very good team, and had they had more investment I think they could've won the league.

My crystal ball tells me we'll match Liverpool's 4-3-3, with Mount and Sterling as the wide men, and we'll win 2-1.

Re: the online abuse Mount gets, it's a tough one. Obviously it's going to be upsetting and potentially impact your football, then again, if he was less of an online brand, he could just ignore it. Now he's completely within his rights to be active on social media, and I'm sure it greatly increases his worth outside of football, but if it's badly affecting the football, then why not just get off of it? If I was famous, there isn't a chance in hell I'd open myself up to a hoard of cretins on Twitter. As to if he stays or not -- again, it's tough. Is he worth more than 200,000 pw? Atm, no. That isn't to say other players being paid more are worth it either. But given we need to offload a lot of attackers already, I can see why the club are playing hardball over a new contract.

Frustrating, but I think we look a bit better. We just need to be less sloppy in possession. Felix is a great player, but he loses the ball a lot in stupid areas.

I'm not sure any of our new signings have shown anything much yet. Felix looks the best of the bunch, but doesn't seem to work very hard off of the ball. I'd go with: Kepa Fofana Koulibaly Chalobah James RLC Enzo Chilly Mount Havertz Felix/Sterling/Pulisic Honestly, I'm as frustrated with Havertz as everyone else, but I don't see much choice with who else to play. I think, given our lack of goals, it would be a mistake to play a back 5 plus 3 midgets. But we looked a lot better with Chilly at LWB, so hoping James can offer the same improvement at RWB.

The biggest issue with Havertz is he's had 3 seasons to speed up his play, yet time and time again we see him getting caught in possession, or taking too long to play a pass or get a shot away. I just don't think he suits English football.
