He's actually a good defender. The problem for me with the transfer, is that he is 28. The second rate league stuff is nonsense when referring to a central defender. Adjusting to a different league, that is a better way to put it.

Call it what you want, it's a red card. He knew what he was doing and if he didn't then that's even more stupid, you don't kick a ball like that towards a group of players if you just want to restart play.

And yes, he's struggling with the physicality. I saw a poster mention that he'll do well with a pre-season.. and I'll attest to that. He's got to get acclimatized, because you can't doubt his talent and ability.
 
For some reason, our whole team looks lost around the top of the box and making intricate runs there. He is incredibly good at that for Columbia.
 
People are going to get down, but I think he can still shine for us.

I just think in big games when we're being peppered from every angle, Thibault's length and positioning can steal us games.. and he's only going to get better.
