Im not someone that judges players based on stats. Im just saying that the stats that ethical put up only show goals and not atempts on/off target, therefore you cant say one of them is more effective cause you dont take into consideration how many times they actually missed the goal.

I dont know about Brian, all i know is that he likes Zlatan alot as do i but not for PL. I quoted ethical about his Kalou vs Joey stats so maybe he knows a bit more about it. I couldnt see the game today so how was Joey besides the goal.

It also depends how accurate those long balls are, nothing wrong with it if you have people that can hit that long ball and a strong forward that can take it down.

I thought effective means how many times you scored or made an assist out of all your atempts to do so. I dont know if there is any stats of this but lets say Joey shot the ball 10 times and scored 3, and Kalou shot it 25 times and scored 5, then surely Joey is more effective. Somebody have stats on atempts?

A Mercedes is reliable in any country, a football player wont neceseraly be reliable in any country (league) or team. The point is that the efectivity of a new signing in any given league and team depends on a lot of factors such as manager influence, style of play, mindset, personal life of the player and so on. Sheva and Kezman where great in other teams but turned out sh*t for us. We didnt expect much from Beletti but he turned out pretty good, who knows how good Alves would do for us even if he cost much more, with our luck not so good. In my opinion we shouldnt expekt much from expensive "stars" mainly from other leagues until we actually see them play for Chelsea.

Mate what game was you watching today? I think you're confusing Cole and Malouda. Easy mistake to make I suppose. All J.Cole did today was complicate things, Malouda wasnt good either but nobody was exept for Maka that gets my vote. Malouda had a good pass to Anelka that should have scored there.

I would go for the same, just swap J.Cole with SWP, and Maka instead of Sidwell if he is fit.

I thought so, they showed the replay only once so i wasnt shure. But still i dont get what the ref saw on that Ronaldo freekick, he fell cause hes foot got caught in the dirt after his shot, there was nobody near him so i guess the ref took the Giggs situation in consideration.
