OMG just as i said we were lucky.

About time we got a lucky bounce, the way the refs have been against us im surprised he didnt dissallow the goal. Good to see less dribling and more passing from Cole and Kalou, id like to see more of that.

Why do people still think we should play Sheva as a lone striker? He is not a post player thats gonna hold on to the ball in order for the team to move up, he should make runns and get the ball behind the backline thats how he scores. If your gonna play 433 then Pizzaro would be the choice on top as he has the strength to hold on to it a bit longer or head it on as hes succesfully been doing. The only way Sheva should play on top is with a striker next to him. When is Malouda comming back? Havent heared of him in a while.

Sheva wasnt seen much in the first half, allthough he lacks skills he showed great courage by taking the penalty and scoring from it when beeing doubted since he came(with every right). Got a lot off space in the second when Villa had 10 men so he hasnt really proven himself for me. Ballack for me turned the game into our favour, showed that he can replace Lamps and played much better then he did last year when both he and Lamps played at the same time. I think that has been the problem you cant have them on at the same time, Ballack seems to need authority in mf in order to play good and needs alot of touches on the ball during a game. I watched him play alot in Bayern, he seemed to dissapear in some games and dominate in others so i wouldnt really get my hopes up yet allthough if given time on the pitch he could be a regular in the future.

There was clearly no handball here from the replays i saw, even if he did slightly touch it with his arm that wasnt what stopped the ball from going in, his chest did. It cant be more clear to me that we was robbed off 2 points here. I reccon we would be up there along Manu and Ars right now if there wouldnt have been that many dodgy calls against us. One example is when Mikel got a red card against Manu wich would probably have been yellow for any other team, those 20-25 minutes before he was sent off was the best ive seen from us in a long time. If there wouldnt have been a red card im sure we could have got at least a draw the way we were playing.

Voted for Carvs even if nobody really deserved it. Very bad game from us, very lucky to win this one. Other than Carvs, Kalou was good at times. Sheva dissapeared in the game, as usuall i would say. Very greatfull for 3 points here.

I was surprised to see Sheva in a 433 formation. We was clearly better when Pizzaro came on, hes good in that Gudhjonsen role. Pointless to hit all those long balls from Chech when we dont have Drogba out there, Sheva is not a post player. Swp terrible miss and crossing. Joe Cole has been good lately but today he showed that he maybe is not that good against tougher opponents.

They didnt mention any of our injuries besides for Drogba before the match, nothing about Essien either but they did mention that Febregas and Hleb where injured like three times. Now at halftime they show an interview with Alex Ferguson Oh yeah and they said Terry would get a red card at any time if he would continue.

Yeah i think hes a bit overrated but you never know how he will develop, and remember when he scored against us it was Ben Haim that he went by in order to score. Im guessing he wouldnt have scored with RC or JT in that situation.

I didnt see the game so i cant vote, but from what i read we hit alot of woodwork and should have won.

Judging by this Hleb and Cesc and all of their injured players should be back 16th to.

For real this is what ive been trying to tell people, they scored to many goals this season for beeing Arsenal. Now things are getting back to normal, just hope that none-scoring ability that they showed last season slowly is coming back now.

Wonderful news. But I guess Gerrard will get the headlines as usual. Something about him being world class but his team mates let the team down I was just discussing this at flashback.se, its unbelievable how much hes raised to the sky by people even those that arent Liverpool fans.

I voted for Joey, he was unpredictable nearly every time he got the ball, was changing positions alot with SWP between right and center. Good to see Sheva score but didnt really stand out in the game, as i said before the problem with him is that he isnt getting the balls behind the backline which hes dependent on. He mostly got the ball standing still and then was driven backwards.

Yeah against Arse Alex would be to slow, he has looked better recently but against Arse i dont know. Chech is always missed when injured no matter who we play even though Carlo has done a good job.

When are Malouda and Ballack coming back should be soon.
