Spot on.  It's not like he relies on pace and has lost it, as that can never be recovered, but vision and passing stays with you until the end - Pirlo being testament to that.  So I don't understand how he is unable to pick out those passes that we bought him for.  Before the second goal he got the ball just outside the halfway line with moses in acres of space to the right, yet passed it back.  Absolutely baffling.

Clearly at fault for Barca's 2nd, yes Christensen could perhaps have bailed him out with a technical foul against Messi but it was Cesc's inability to control the ball from Christensen  (under no pressure) that led to the situation in the first place.

I don't know about anybody else, but i'm finding this season to be worse than the season we had 2 years ago. We aren't playing as bad obviously, but the events of this season has felt inevitable, right from the start. Bad transfer window, miserable manager, players not performing well, poor results, constant terrible decision's given against us from the ref. I just feel like i'm waiting to see us get knocked out of the Champions League, miss out on top 4 and for Conte to leave now........like i said, it just feels inevitable.
I am desperate for a twist to go in our favour, this season has been horribly predictable and terrible to watch too. There has been about 2 or 3 really enjoyable moments all season, the rest has been a mix of ok, bad and terrible. With the way things are playing out, i'm wouldn't be surprised to see Hazard leave too.

Strange isn't it considering this is a huge game for both teams.
