I honestly think this is the worst thread started on this entire forum.

For me: Tibo Azpi Cahill Ivan Baba Mikel RLC Willian Fab Hazard Traore I want to see Costa rested before PSG because knowing Chelsea's luck this season he'll probably do his ACL or something. Whether he be replaced by Traore/Pato/Remy i'm not too fussy but i've chosen Traore because of his performances in recent weeks. Baba back in at LB. Kenedy was great getting forward last game but showed he isn't much of a defender. With Shaqiri down that wing we're gonna need someone that knows how to get a foot in. RLC in the middle with Mikel, but this coud also be Matic. Just adds a bit of a back bone in the middle against a team that can be dangerous on the attack if they show up.

Traore for me. Would've liked to choose Kenedy and probably would've done if he was started on the wing but he was playing LB and his defending was mediocre. Not moaning at the lad because he ain't a defender but that side was too easy for Redmond all night.

Just to let you know, he is Chilean and not Italian. But i agree with the point that we'll be linked to a lot of Italians now.

Feel bad for Baba, you could see he was distraught after that goal. Got to keep him in the team though, its the only way these young players will learn.

No Terry confirmed, looks like it'll be the same defense again. I'm loving this Azpi/Baba as full backs and Ivanovic back in the middle.

I wasn't aspiring to be like Watford. More making the point of if the formation can help a team like Watford reach the top end of the table imagine what it could do for a team that should already be at the top.

I'd love a return of a traditional 442, its been working wonders for Watford this term.

Conte isn't the kind of manager who has a formation and will force the players into playing the formation he wants (LVG). He'll see what we have and play whatever formation suits so its very unlikely we'll end up using the 3-5-2 with our CB options. 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 are the most likely.

Buying young players like this would make our academy even more pointless than it currently is. We need to start promoting our own youth instead of poaching other youngsters.

Yesterday was a great game to build the confidence even if it was against a bunch of kids. Goals are goals at the end of the day and hopefully Hazard can use this as the confidence he needs to get back to his best. My only issue with yesterdays game was the introduction of Matic.. We have RLC sat on the bench needing minutes and the game is easily won. Throw him in and lets see what damage he could do, instead we bring on Matic who has been mediocre all season to run about for the last 10. Very annoying,

But the ligue 1 IS weak. You can't say otherwise when PSG are sat 24 points clear.. They have no competition at all in that league so can afford to play one or two youth players and still easily walk a game.

I don't understand the criticism towards Tbo after the PSG game, i can't remember one thing he did wrong last night

You honestly think our first choice goalkeeper will be rested and an unproven youth player (as much as i highly rate him) will be started against one of the best teams in England, in arguably the only competition we can realistically win this season? I expect to see a very similar team as last night with the addition of Matic.

Gundogan isn't the profile of player we need. We need a player that is disciplined and can hold.

I don't really understand everyone bashing Hazard. When he got subbed off PSG came into the game more and managed to get a goal. Fair enough he isn't skipping through players like last season but with him on the pitch it takes two players to close him down because of the threat he possesses. This frees up space for other players to run in to. Bringing on Oscar for him was a huge mistake as it changed our shape and the way we played massively.

Ivanovic was caught playing Cavani on side for that goal so it was more his fault than Courtois. There's not much more he could've done, got out quick, closed the angle and spread himself its unlucky that the ball went under him. To blame him for that goal is crazy. For me Baba MOTM. Refreshing to have natural full backs for once and not players out of position (RB playing LB and CB playing RB).

As unreliable as the sources are a lot of people are now saying Simeone will join Chelsea as permanent manager at the end of the season on a £9.2mil a year contract. Even if the rumours are false what would everyone think of Simeone joining us and if he's unwanted who would you like to see at the helm instead?

When Mata was played he was usually played out wide and rarely at number 10. Lets play Remy at holding mid and see if he takes his opportunity to become a first team regular? Mata was treated unfairly under Mourinho. He did what was wanted and tracked back when he could but Mourinho would never have been happy and was always going to take and transfer they could for him. Mata had every right to leave, what is the point in staying to fight for your place when no matter how hard you try it'll never be good enough for the manager?

I thought overall it was a good performance by the team. If it wasn't for a few world class saves from De Gea we could've took the three points yesterday. I'd like to see Hazard play a full 90 soon and the two Serbs need to be dropped for a bit. Watching players run past Ivanovic like he isn't even there is painful, never mind Matic's none existent first touch.

Could easily invest in a better number 10 with that kind of money. Obviously a lot of other factors to consider such as Oscar actually agreeing to personal terms etc.. but even so, I believe Chelsea are crying out for a new number 10.
