  1. Well saw our starting line-up and saw theirs and was quietly optimistic. But that optimism evaporated very quickly once the bar-codes came flying out the blocks and we looked like rabbits caught in headlights. Another first 45 to forget and we're lucky as we should have been dead and buried. Thankfully MOTM James got us back into it with a great free-kick and the home crowd went a bit quieter and their players slowed down a bit and we did a lot better. Shame Palmer is still not fully fit. Showed some good touches and passes but nowhere near his best. And we could have done with Estevao coming on last 25 minutes to run at their tired defence - Neto had one of his poorer games. Draw was a fair result in the end. Would have been good to win but then again they had their chances and a weaker ref could have easily given them penalties - those bar codes certainly go down easily. One thing that really pisses me of with CFC these days (as well as our bald coach), is some of our players play-acting and apparent weakness. It was Gusto today - we're up against it and he goes down and stays down when clearly nothing wrong with him and he's soon up again but we could so easily have conceded whilst he "sat it out". Both Enzo and Pedro do it a lot as well. Go down, look for the ref and don't bother getting back up to chase back. If I was their coach or captain I would be getting hold of them and say don't EVER do that again. Get up and play to the whistle FFS.
  2. Not his finest today - partly responsible for both Newcastle goals.
  3. Frustrating when he tries to beat keeper at the near post when it's never on but at least he put in a decent shift today.
  4. I need a bit of Christmas Cheer - I have the mother in law & father in law arriving today and they are staying with us for over a week FFS!
  5. Deep down, I know that. But it's nearly Christmas - let me Dream!! #MarescaOutanddontreplacehimwithanotherf**kwit
  6. 3 years yesterday since Terry Hall left us. 💔
  7. Let City have him. Glasner want's to stay in London but unlikely to sign new contract with Palace so just go get him. NOW.
  8. Imagine if Silva was player / coach. Takes me back to the time Hoddle was here and always looked the best player on the pitch.
  9. Just played again whilst eating my sarnie (salmon & cucumber) but I keep getting players in B&W who if they were alive today would be about 130!! You think "yeah, he looks like he might have netted a few".....................1 FFS!
  10. Indeed. We don't tend to do well in the North East and it's an early kick-off so will our players be alert and awake?!! Bar-Codes are always hard to play at St Jame's, and their home support does help big-time, but with their injuries, hopefully we can shut them up and come home with 3 points. Palmer hat-trick is what I'm praying for......................

Any news on Lavia? Has he been told to go into hibernation for the winter and we might just see him again around March time - possibly April/May?
  12. Another first 45 minutes to forget. Truly dull and uninspiring. Much better second half with the subs and Buonanotte going from looking like a very poor and even slower Jorginho to someone who could actually play football after all. Fair play to Cardiff. For a League 1 side they play good football and I like their manager. Thankfully, a little bit of class prevailed in the end.
  13. Gittens is the very definition of a lightweight footballer. I have seen glimpses of something that says it's too early to write him off and after all he is only 21. BUT as 21, you should still have a bit more about you. Never seen a player look so timid that even lower league defenders can brush him off with relative ease. Maybe at this stage it is better to introduce him from the bench for 20 minutes against tired legs as when he starts a game, you know he will be one of the first ones hooked.
  14. But Tosin is one of those players whose value increases more when he is NOT playing. Put him in the shop window and his value plummets - as recent performances have highlighted! This is madness with Maresca. Go from detesting the bloke and wanting him gone, to feeling a bit sorry and supportive of him. Would love a better coach (Glasner ideally), but know that with these SD's it will probably all be much of a muchness. Could be worse, just look at West Ham and Spuds...............................
  15. I was up to 18 and then had Andy Myers v Steve Sidwell. I guessed wrong - Sidwell 1 goal - Andy Myers 2!
  16. On that note it's kind of annoying how Madueke appears to be flourishing at Arsenal. I know it was good business and we had Estevao coming in, but Arsenal have Saka and are still giving Madueke plenty of minutes and he will be in the world cup squad. He hinted when he left that he couldn't express himself how he wanted (playing the Maresca-Ball way). Just hope the likes of palmer and Estevao don't get equally pissed off - or actually hope they do and false the owners to make a change. I'm not usually in favour of player power but would make the exception in this case.
  17. Kovacic - a measly 6 goals in all the time he was with us. Kept telling you all but nobody listened........................!!
  18. Come on dkw - know your CFC History!
  19. Thing is, when the team wasn't doing well during the Abramovic era, you would be constantly checking the breaking news - half expecting the announcement of the coach being sacked. Out of faint hope, I still keep checking, but with the mob, the "Club Statement", is likely to be that they've extended his contract!
  20. Can anyone imagine Abramovic putting up with this complete clown? (I know he wouldn't have been appointed in the first place). What is equally depressing as to how clueless he is, is knowing that he ain't going anywhere. It's a living nightmare.
  21. Think we are all at that stage. It was always a case of massive arguments with the Mrs, when I put Chelsea first. But now, I'm happy to do other stuff if it means not having to suffer more Maresca-Ball sh*te. When we have such talents as Cole Palmer and Estevao it's a really sad state of affairs.
  22. So glad I played pickleball tonight rather than suffer watching more sh*t Maresca-Ball. He has to go (but I know he won't).
  23. He's only 43 and it's difficult to win anything at the sort of clubs he's managed up to now. But the football he has Bournemouth playing, despite the fact they're a club always selling their best players, is so much better than Maresca-ball and he would be a massive upgrade on Maresca. That said my choice would be Glasner. If it were back in the days of Roman, I would imagine we would be announcing Glasner as our new head coach sometime soon, alas, under these f**kwits, I think you're right - the bald one will still be here next season.
  24. Think it is just modern football in general. Have always looked forward to the FA Cup 3rd round draw but I didn't even see it on the TV yesterday - only saw it on the internet. All the bigger PL clubs will put out weakened teams in the early rounds. Such a shame that it isn't the competition it once was (except for supporters of clubs who haven't won anything for a long time like Palace last season).
  25. Look forward to crashing out with a Tosin and Badiashille sh*t-show.
