First time I saw our fans wearing the white Butcher coats in numbers, was at Tottenham in the League cup semi 2nd Leg in Jan 72.

I wasnt a member of the forum when David posted these pictures many months ago, but got very exited at the prospect of seeing the 100s of photos from this era.
I can only guess that he used the premise of creating an album as a device to make contact with a few of the old boys he knew from back then, and for whatever reason renaged on his promise.

Garry, the bit where you mentioned what us old timers had been through in the dark years was very true, and it's probably the very same reason that I can't get upset about a defeat anymore. We're lucky enough now to be living through the most successful period in the club's history, but if you've been to Hull and back, on a rainy Tuesday night, it sure learns you to appreciate the good times.

Ah Steve Ballard, grainy picture but I think I know who you are, who was the Everton fan from Walthamstow that used to stand with you at the back of the shed..... Do you remember getting fronted by George the Greek and his mob at Kings Cross station? Was about 1975 and a bit scary.
