It's totally possible that depression was not the reason for his suicide. Many depressed people do not contemplate suicide. For all we know suicide can be for a number of reasons, infidelity on either side, money issues, bad business decision, causing somebody else pain either physically or verbally, ruining somebody else's career or personal life, gambling, illness. Whatever it was for Gary Speed it was presumably something he couldn't bear to live with any longer. There are also sexual reasons for hanging yourself - some people are into asphyxiation for sexual pleasure (Michael Hutchence allegedly did this). It may also have been an accident - perhaps he was fixing something.

until chelsea is willing to stick with a manager this is going to happen time and again. It's not the end of the world to not win something some seasons, the expectations are too great and it's not possible. Until we fans, RA, the press etc get that into our skulls we will not be able to keep managers who have any chance of building a team. Just my opinion but I would be happy for top 4 every season even if that means no silverware from time to time, there is not too much wrong with stopping the expectations and allowing us to become a good top 4 force, a team that others fear not laugh at. Look how we loved the 90s when Hoddle came in and started turning us into something, the ability to buy great players, silverware, hope. It seems like our hope has vanished.

why did the scousers play today and not tomorrow? Oh yes they are not in Europe.

just noticed there are only 5 London teams in the EPL and no other southern teams unless Swansea counts (err...). One team from East Anglia, 2 Midlands teams and the rest are from the North. We are 3rd today and the next London team is 11th. Shame how the North has dominated this season.

it's ridiculous here in sunny Florida too, movie tickets are $10 each, soda and popcorn about another $15 for 2 and it's sh*te popcorn anyway. we wait for the movies to come onto On Demand on the TV and pay $5 to sit at home and make microwave popcorn. There is no movie worth spending almost $40 on as entertainment that isn't going to be on TV a few weeks later unless it's a 3D movie that has amazing reviews.
