  1. TOP 10 IS IN SIGHT BOYS THIS DOES NOT f**kING SLIP NOW (🤞 ) no fr though, we're beating united too
  2. Is Carlo leaving RMA?
  3. I don't understand what the gist of this argument is. You should never forget your roots, but expectations do change. Once you have become a big club, there's pretty much no going back. If you don't want to look at ManU, look at Milan instead. What were they before Sacchi? A club of the good old glory days of the 60s, relegated and only holding on due to nostalgia and the Milan Derby. Five years later, 4 Scudettos and 3 European Cups. Once you do that, there's no alternative than to keep winning. It's big club mentality that settles in, it's football heritage that develops as someone likes to say. Milan went through a rough patch in the 2010's just like ManU. Did you ever see either of them giving up on their ambitions? Milan is in the semis for the first time in a long while, and the attitude is "we'll fight for this, been there done that". This is big club mentality, dusty trophy cabinets and rough times don't make a heavy jersey lighter. Chelsea in the last 20 years has won the league 4 times and experienced European glory twice. You're just not content with good FA cup runs after that, if you are then you failed to transition to a big club. But I don't think this is the case. We are Chelsea, we are lions. We have fought, and we have won. And we'll do it again no matter how dire current circumstances seem.
  4. This could very well be me daydreaming, but I think the Pochettino deal has indeed been slowing down and Boehly is trying to cook up Mourinho. To the idea that no top manager is touching Chelsea with a 10 foot pole, I don't agree per se we are still an attractive destination financially. The thing is Chelsea likes to go for the creme de la creme, and at this time all the top top notch managers are entangled elsewhere. People like Pochettino or Enrique, no offense meant they have their strengths, but they're considering that a lackluster tint at Chelsea could further taint their already quasi-tainted CV's. If someone like Carlo was free for example, this wouldn't be the case. Even if he'd come and get the sack in 6 months, his legacy wouldn't be affected. But all that's just theorizing; back to talking about Jose. He will only accept the job if Roma doesn't give him the resources he needs, which seems increasingly likely. I don't think he has anything more to prove in Rome honestly, even if he doesn't lift the EL cup. Now, someone told me a few days ago that Mourinho coming to Chelsea and seeing this group of players would give him an instant brain aneurysm. Which is true, we do not look like a Mourinho side at all. Thankfully, I think Boehly will accept that what is done is done, and be eager to support his new manager and get the checkbook out. Our transfer policy is very straight forward I think. Sell all the deadwood- and Gods is there deadwood right now, raise some funds, and go all out on: A true striker, a volatile midfielder, and possibly a CB. For a striker I'd ideally want Osimhen, who Jose had time to check out in Italy. Maybe Napoli would be eager to swap him for Lukaku+cash. Now in the center. RMA is probably getting Bellingham, which possibly means that one of Camavinga or Valverde will be up for sale. If that's the case, I'd love it if we pursued Camavinga. He'd fit right in. Edit: Welp, Pochettino's in London. Scrap this
  5. In a fairytale word I'd bring Mou for the trilogy. In a more realistic fairytale world I'd take Carlo. Good vibes Seems like I'm getting Pochettino and going on a 3 year dry spell 😓
  6. Liverpool's next match is the Merseyside derby in Goodison Park. A draw there, plus favourable results from Leicester-Villa and City-Arsenal could put us a mere 3 points from the top, assuming we beat Soton. Those first 8 or so matches can have a huge influence on the entire season
  7. Wow we can't even score from the penalty spot
  8. Scott Carson for England?
  9. Win this and hope that City manage to draw at Anfield
  10. You're getting too heated for no reason there Let the beautiful game speak for itself
  11. Nick man, can you chill? ???????? ???? ?? ????????, ?? ?????? ??????? ??? ?? ?????? I know you're a paok fan but damn, you need to tone it down I watch greek football week in week out and imo aek is the better team. Better than paok, better than olympiakos etc etc etc They're at 9/9 and have still to concede in the league Now with that said, it's gonna be a tight man in Toumba lads, I wouldn't mind a draw. We should and will be aiming for the dub though! Come on you blues! This competition is ours to win
  12. Yes of course. PM if you wanna have a discussion mate :)
  13. I follow the League very closely my friend, I'm Cypriot and in my opinion AEK was the best team in Greece last year
  14. PAOK isn't the best greek team It's behind AEK and arguably Olympiakos They came 2nd last year and just lost 1-4 to Basel Their home ground is notorious though Last year after a 1-2 loss to AEK the pitch was invaded and the club owner walked around holding a handgun
  15. YES IT'S OVER! LET'S GO LADS 3 POINTS TOMORROW TOP OF THE LEAGUE WHERE WE BELONG
  16. LET'S DO THIS MAURIZIO
  17. Messi hasn't been better than hazard for this past months imo Eden's a perfect machine
  18. Oh Eden, I love you Long live the king No doubt the best player in the world, second to none since the premier of the World Cup.
  19. Expectations: Top 4 Reaching at least the semis of UEL Reaching at least the semis of the FA cup Hopes: Challenging the title Winning either the FA cup or UEL Hazard scoring 20 goals in the league Fears: Failing to qualify for next year's UCL Sarri sacked Losing twice to Liverpool or Spurs I think those sound fair
  20. Yup this was the critical window. Long live Hazard
  21. Please make this happen please
  22. GIAN FRAN CO ZOOOOLA LA LA LA LA LA LA ZOOOOLA
  23. I wouldn't worry
  24. You know what I'd do if my name was Roman Abramovich? I'd invite Hazard to my 500 million dollar "Eclipse" yacht and I'd say to him If you stay, you get 300k per week plus 100k every time you score in the league. He nets 17 goals, he gets 13.7m for the August-May period That's like paying him 340k a week, top 5 in the world. I know I wouldn't refuse that
  25. Thanks, boss :) It's been a pleasure to have you as a manager
