Jordan711 reacted to nonotnowjim in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Said it multiple times- cracking player. The Argentinian Dennis Wise.
I think expectations are higher for him due to the fee - which is why some slate him - but if we look objectively, he is always running his heart out, fighting for the badge, and scores and assists in game changing moments on a pretty regular basis.
If every player in the squad fought like Enzo does for the badge then we would be a decent team.

Jordan711 reacted to WhiteWall in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Um is that right?
Fat Frank to West Ham fans iirc. When he came here we were a bit tepid because he was being mis profiled. But he actually bulked up, worked bloody hard on his movement and position and spent hours developing his touch and finishing. Lampard very much was a product of his own creation and is the poster boy for talent pus bloody hard work.

Jordan711 got a reaction from C3blue in Romeo LaviaIt's a difficult one but I'd keep him. We've managed to see a turn around in Reece James and even Fofana is managed fairly well so there is a pathway if we can somehow keep him fit. His wages are not astronomical and the fee we'd receive would make us look like idiots, if he can stay fit. Surely worth the gamble of keeping him and if he doesn't stay fit sell him in the last year of his contract for the same money we'd get now.

Jordan711 got a reaction from WhiteWall in Alejandro GarnachoSounds like Timo Werner mk. 2 except his finishing completely left him when he came to England.
-
Jordan711 reacted to WhiteWall in Alejandro GarnachoHe is another one of those one trick players. What he is good at, is transitional running in behind and then, if his confidence is there, finishing or assisting. This unfortunately doesn't seem to fit much with either Maresca's style or indeed Rosenior's. Putting him in as a wing back isn't going to work either by the looks of it.
-
Jordan711 got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Alejandro GarnachoDone absolutely nothing to stake a claim as a starter, in fact I'd say he struggled massively against a poor team. He can't dribble, he's constantly falling over the ball, shooting is poor and is not very good at crossing. Genuinely wondering what someone saw in him to make him one of our main summer targets.

Jordan711 reacted to Andy North in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCThe recent results and general malaise the club has been in since the new owners took over has lead many fans to blame the business model. Its my view that things are worse than that.
Clearlake are known for employing an "Operations, People, Strategy framework, partnering with management teams and using operational expertise to drive value in their portfolio companies". But in Chelsea's case they have demonstrated a high degree of incompetance. Its not just the model. The levels of incompetance are astounding. Failure with sponsorship, player purchasing, stadium development and management/coach recruitment.
How can they not get a shirt sponsor in the near 4 years they have owned the club? Are the 74 FA charges hindering negotiations? City seem to be managing OK. Surely Clearlake have global contacts that would be interested in a bit more exposure in the UK. The player purchasing debacle started with Sterling, Badiashile and Disasi. All hugely over valued and paid. Then we start buying players with injury records. Lavia was actually injured when we bought him. His investment value blinded them. Fofana had a history of knee problem long before he came to Chelsea. Mudryk could be put down to bad luck but he didn't prove of much value on the pitch. Jackson, Delap, Garnacho and Gittens all have serious question marks about thier footballing ability. I thought stadium development was a proscribed requirement in the purchase of the club yet nothing has happened in 4 years. I don't buy this nonsense that Earls Court has passed us by. Money talks and until there are shovels in the ground that option is very much on the table. Why dont they make it happen? There is huge development potential in that site and Clearlake are an investment company. This particular failure really does point to either a lack of will or incompetance. I'm a fan of over 50 years but if moving to Earls Court means the successful continuation of Chelsea I'd be happy for the club to move there. Finally the changing of manager and coaching staff has just about broken Chelsea as a successful footballing entity. The players haven't had a continual figure in the dressing room in years and the mass changes of squad have all lead to the current unorganised and uncommitted appearance of the team. Incompetance throughout.
The irony is that an investment company has lead us all to feel uninvested.

Jordan711 reacted to Scott Harris in Thank You Roman.I disagree. What exactly do you think we could have done? We had literally nobody on our side. Every political party in the country had whipped up the nation into thinking everything Russian equals bad, it's something they are still somehow very good at for some reason. There are plenty of gullible sheep in this country.
Us fans were completely powerless. Even if every Chelsea fan in the country spoke up, it would have made no difference.

Jordan711 reacted to El regreso in Marc Cucurella😂😂 Dildo of consequence rarely comes lubed!!
-
Jordan711 reacted to Sexyfootball in Marc CucurellaCould be ... but also if you have him play as a traditional full back, as last night, then it makes his weaknesses as a defender much more obvious. Maresca disguised a lot of it by having him hooning all over the pitch looking "busy" and "aggressive" ...

Jordan711 got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Pedro Neto *Official*Give Estevao the game time now. Surely can't get any worse for the immediate future and long term will only benefit Estevao to become the player he is destined to be.

Jordan711 reacted to petre ispirescu in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Enzo is the least of our problems.
-
Jordan711 reacted to timetowaste in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Tosin
Chalobah
Badiashile
Neto
Horrid managerial appointments
We can't finish a game with 11 men
The board can't get a front of shirt sponsor after years of trying
The board can't sort out our new stadium, forever keeping our revenue lower than the teams at the top table
I think we could both go on about what's wrong at the club, but I won't put Enzo as a one of the reasons we aren't performing.
-
Jordan711 reacted to petre ispirescu in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Fofana
Lavia
These two should have been an important part of this team, especially Lavia. It simply is not possible for professional players that young to get injured that often and be treated like babies everytime they get back. I mean there are players like Kane or Lewandowki who I swear to God that I feel like I see them playing every three days, for both club and country and never get injured and are way into their 30s.
Lavia was supposed to be Caicedo's partner in midfield but he is never available, Fofana was supposed to be one of the main center backs, yet he is never available. A lot of things must be addressed this summer. Can't start yet another season thinking who's minutes we should manage and how much we should rotate just so they do not get injured playing more than two weeks in a row like we are the f**king NHS and not a football club...

Jordan711 reacted to big blue in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!Think Enzo gets a rough of it tbh. 25 goals, and 25 assists in about 150 games is really good from midfield. He is very good footballer, maybe not the most athletic, but personally dont want to watch 11 super atheletes run about for 90 mins.
If Palmer or Estavao, did that Maradona turn against City and put in on a plate for Neto, people would be waxing lyrical about it, Enzo does it, and its almost radio silence.
He is miles clear of Gravenberch and Macallister, who were good enough to win the league last year. If he came for £40m I think people would actually rate him more.
Much bigger issues, we have expensive forwards that have put up worse numbers, and we have centre backs and a goalkeeper that wouldnt look out of place in the Wolves team that a rock bottom.

Jordan711 reacted to loz in Pedro Neto *Official*Dreadful today. Along with many others.
We either try Estevao on the left, Palmer in right and Enzo at 10 (also f**king awful today) or play Pedro at 10 or actually rethink our formation entirely.
-
Jordan711 reacted to The Boehly Babes in Pedro Neto *Official*Really hate the view that you pick your winger based on their defensive ability. With that logic Hazard or Robben would’ve never seen game time for us and Victor Moses would be a club icon.
However to summarise our current wing situation
Garnacho is bad, Pedro Neto is atrociously bad & Jamie Jermaine Bynoe Gittens isn’t even worth discussing.

Jordan711 got a reaction from erskblue in Liam Delap joins Chelsea *Official*Which Pedro? Both were pretty useless.

Jordan711 reacted to Eugenio_67 in RIP Legend Gianluca VialliToday is three years. It seems like much more time has passed...💙
I chose this photo because the banner at the base of the Gradinata Sud says:
"BECAUSE IT TIES A THREAD TO US"
Selfishly, that's also what I think of the story between Vialli, Sampdoria, Chelsea...and me.
