Definitely seems an issue with Kovacic, very frustrating player. I know he seems to have a lot of support on here but for me he one of the first players out the door in the summer. When fit he is generally selected which is only about 50% of our games since he came here and his stats seem fairly sh*t.

Not my type of footballer, but I realise that he had some value and support in the team. However no player made me shout at the screen more than Jorginho with his sideways, backways 5 yd pointless passes. Good professional who never seemed to grumble and appeared to be liked in the squad. Hopefully this has eventually seen the end of Sarriball which has run through the team since his induction but this type of football is boring and must stop if we are to return to the entertaining club we are. Hate to sell to Arse but it’s good business and saves us probably £15m incl wages which can be put against incomings.

If they win the league you’ll soon learn to hate them. Fans are as arrogant as they come, so far up their own hole.

Trying not to get too excited about him just yet but it’s not easy. Some wonderful touches today. Quick brain as well as quick feet. Played a couple of perfectly weighed first time passes inside when pressured. I think Kai missed a couple of opportunities to involve him today but it’s a partnership I could see working if Kai plays deeper.

We’ve been poor in front of goal for a few seasons now, long before potter came. Seem to want to walk the ball into the net, no one wanting to take the responsibility to shoot early except maybe James when he gets into the box and hes a wing back.

Thought the first half passed Jorginho by and would have subbed him at ht. he did improve second half but needs replaced. Silva give his usual Rolls Royce performance and was my motm. Badiashile with another very strong performance in which I didn’t really notice him. Must be a pleasure for him playing alongside Silva. If mount wants a new super contract he’d need to up his game, has been poor all season with everyone waiting for him to click in. Needs benched. Kai was alright but leading the line is not for him. Pity he wasn’t better with the head. Better from Ziyech today were he actually tracked back and worked hard. Must be looking a move. Good debut from Mudryk considering he hasn’t played for a while, big fee, playing away to Liverpool. Something to look forward to I think. Well done Aspi, 500 games is some achievement. Not going to get into the Gallagher argument. He adds fizz and grit to our midfield but does lack vision and quality sometimes. Finally I just wish out players would shoot earlier. Too many times we try to walk it in and end up tackled or blocked.

It sounds a bit like a lot people on here are happy enough to pay whatever for players, even 30/40m over the market value. Then other threads people hammer the same club for overpaying.

It’s disappointing not to get a target that we were interested in but I don’t know why people think it’s a low ball offer. From what I see being quoted on here it seems that he is never worth 120€ as a 21 year old and a true price would be nearer to what we offered. The 120 is only a buy out figure negotiated when benfica bought him for whatever lowly sum and does not reflect his worth. Benfica are in a good position as to not need to sell atm and know that they will probably get a similar figure in 6 months.

I think it’s more pulling in the same direction than a yes man. Obviously that was the problem with TT in that he was not prepared or capable of working with the board so had to go.

I think Jorginho and Kante are gone in the summer, with Zaharias loan terminated. Also I see a changce of Gallagher being off-loaded.

Yes @Mod it is a lot of time but sometime we have to get away from the hiring and firing. If we get a decent fit squad around us in the next couple of months with Kante, James, Chilwell, Enzo?? available I would certainly like to see a big change in us. If it’s the same sh*t then maybe it will be time to depart. It will be a big call on Boehly.

I consider myself just a football fan who supports Chelsea and watch to be entertained. I like to see grit determination, skill and all the other components that make up a good football match. Winning is important but I can take a defeat ok as long as we have give our all and show some direction. Atm we look clueless, no heart and the manager has no balls to change it up a bit and at least get a bit of a reaction. I can’t see a plan of what he’s trying to achieve or what style he wants. I think he should be given a bit of time, at least two windows but I think it’s time to show that he at least can motivate. I know injuries have caused problems but two players on current form should not be near starting and that Sterling and Koulibaly. TT signings so can’t be blamed on Potter but FFS don’t start them and maybe give some of out young starlets some decent minutes. 5 mins at the end of a struggled match does nothing for any young player.

Give the lad 5 mins ffs. Shocking.
