I wouldn't say Mount missed a sitter though, he had a lot to do in that position, most players would never have been able to control it and swirl it around like that.

Pulisic definitely missed a sitter though, but he also changed the game, I hope he starts against Ajax.

That is because the young striker is leading the line in a similar manner to the Ivory Coast legend. If Abraham continues to develop at this rate, manager Frank Lampard will have another problem on his hands - keeping him at Stamford Bridge.

I'm not even convinced he was really planning on moving this early, he was for me using his strong cards to get more game time and a better wage.
And if he is more of a Beckham than a Scholes/Giggs (so to speak) then who are we to begrudge him? Had he not been good enough we would have shafted him on the loan conveyor belt indefinitely before eventually throwing him out to fend for himself, loyalty is a two way street.
Anyway there's no guarantee he will go abroad in the end but there's no harm in keeping an open mind (for example I've always toyed with the idea of going to live and work abroad but not yet made the plunge and I may never do). All the old guard bar Terry mulled the idea of moving at some point before deciding to settle here until their twilight years, Callum may do the same we just don't know but what I do know is there's no need to get so worked up over something that if it ever happens won't be for at least 6 years from now.

I really liked Hudson-Odoi's play last season. He was fantastic the few chances he got. Always direct, always looking to cause problems. Seemed to have an eye fur goal, very good dribbling ability, and also some good crossing ability. Seems this contract situation has got people looking at with a bit of negative bias.
As much as I have been pleasantly surprised by Abraham and Mount, the two that get me going in this team are Hudson Odoi and Loftus Cheek. 
Both are just a joy to watch. 
Excited to see what James can do but we'll have to wait and see.

does it also disregard who was playing with him? Or who we played a few days before? Or who we were playing next? Or how many games he had already played that month etc.... That kind of information is never any use taken in isolation.

He is best suited on the left, with Emerson overlapping with is left foot cross option, and CHO cutting in with his right foot shot/cross, but he also has a left foot cross in him, which means Emerson can also hold back and not overlap so much. Nearly every time i watched him over the last few seasons he has been on the left.

It'll be interesting to see who Frank goes with in for his starting 11 once RLC and CHO are fully match fit - Keeper, back four + Kante and one striker. So that leaves Jorginho, Kova, Barkley, RLC, CHO, Mount and Pulisic fighting for the four remaining places. Healthy level of competition there.

Considering those two are seasoned professionals as well...

I didn't say I don't think the deal isn't already agreed, I said I don't know what is going on anymore. When a deal is agreed, the contract is more often than not signed by the player and confirmed by the club within days, not months. I'm just confused on what the hold up is, there must be something, I just don't know what it is.
