The stadium redevelopment is pretty much the biggest part of our future as a club, its easily the most important part of any future ownership.

I would be very surprised if they unsanction Roman, I don’t see it happening. The govt won’t back track. It would be great but the damage is done unfortunately. Romans name is mud now. 
 
Plus, Putin is a mad dictator who won’t go quietly. 

Why would they apologise to Roman? He's clearly an associate of Putin. Thats enough.
Also no western country is going to be in the negotiations. We are all very much on Ukraines team. We can't be neutral 

The only way we will be able to tell is when our side/intel come out that they've withdrawn from Kyiv, They have struggled big time like posters above have said its Russia pulling back language.

Roman is not an Oligarch, it means Family born into wealth, Rather like the landed gentry of this Country, Oligarch seems to be a word the media appropriated to mean filthy rich Russians..
Btw love the way the media are fawning and foaming with Delight at the sight of Roman who is now persona non gratis for the government , being heavily involved in peace talks, the UK would love to be able to attach Our Roman the peacemaker general…

I am very much of the opinion that we won’t see a new stadium and that any improvements will be on a stand by stand basis. That is unless some sort of land swap is on offer with the Earls Court Development 
A significant amount of the prep and planning for extra capacity on site has been completed. Things like right of light etc  already been sorted .That was key. Egress is the main issue in terms of increasing capacity. 
I personally think the most likely way forward will be a stand by stand redevelopment. Much of the land required has been purchased the West Stand is  a reasonably modern facility with  further upgrades already in train . I don’t know the number but my guess is that stand generates  around 40% of matchday revenue 
The East  Stand ,The Shed are far too small as is the Matthew Harding. Their current capacities are 11000,6414 & 10884 respectively 
To a large degree if you could get the capacity up to around 50-55 k on the current footprint you would be doing well but when you factor in the East Stand currently has around 25% less  capacity than the stand opposite then you do start to wonder particularly if you built up from the boundary formed by the railway to the East and North  with the access to other areas of the site under cover much akin to how Old Trafford is configured .
The Shed End has issues because as we know their is a hotel, apartment and the ticket office club shop etc immediately behind. All those properties are now under the ownership of Fordstam. As I believe is the shopping Centre at Fulham Broadway which affords opportunities in terms of a new club shop and ticket office off site which won’t suit all but space on the current site really is of a premium 

We all know that the now shelved rebuild plans would have been very very expensive and they included a significant time away from SB .Cost is a major  issue but the cost of a total rebuild would be even greater . The current rebuild of Fulham’s main stand is costing less than £100 million that stand had major issues because it is bordered by The Thames.

With all due respect, this content is everywhere, on every media platform and all over the web. We all on here are basically f**ked off with whats going on in the Ukraine and wish it would end asap. Respect to those fighting against the invasion and sincere condolences to those who have suffered. But this is a football forum specifically for Chelsea fans and for me a place to escape from all the sh*t that is going on and to have a bitch, take the piss and to have a laugh (sometimes)

Even Roman wouldn't of forked out for the whole cost of a new stadium, money would of been raised through our sponsorship partners and things like naming rights.

The four remaining contenders to buy Chelsea Football Club are being told they must commit at least £1bn to future investment in the Blues' stadium and squad as part of binding offers that will need to be submitted by the middle of April.

Been following everything real close, I could probably start a sub stack about it all!
Mana could well be a poster that i saw banned from another forum - talkchelsea (ghost town)
Be interesting to know how many rival fans and supporters have accounts on all our forums!!
We could use some solid deets from the supporters trust with regards to the bids
For me, I think I'd prefer supporters to own some of the club and take a lesser billionaire like candy over potentially the biggest bidder but ends up using us as an asset like the rest of the big boys! (Although potential squabbles could arise) 
Bayern Munich over man utd in terms of how the clubs are being run etc
I'd also like to see a serious reduction in ticket costs, A bid that includes agreements to expand the bridge ideal.
