  1. The hope is that he's willing to accept a fairly modest wage because he's so desperate to prove himself at the absolute top of the game and play for an elite club. If he compares himself to Pulisic and Ziyech and looks at their wages he'd be asking for £600K a week!
  2. I thought bookmaker employees had to put #AD at the end when they wrote something like this. I bet there's at least one American in Vegas who has lost tens of thousands betting on Pulisic to score each week. Maybe it's @USATim?
  3. Harry Maguire linked with a swap for Pulisic. I've never felt so conflicted about a transfer in my life.
  4. Jesus Christ you're slow. 1) already addressed. Take a scroll up 2) United have the highest net spend on the planet in the last 10 years, have seen the team go from winning the league to being bottom and almost every signing flopping. Technically not a fact but you won't find anyone with an IQ above 50 arguing against United having done the worst transfer business over the last decade. 3) Surely even you're not simple enough to expect a manager to come out and talk negatively about his own players? Tuchel shows his opinion with his team selections and his reported insistence on us signing new attackers. 4) why are you Cherry picking? Willian in 7 seasons with us scored 63 goals in 339 games for us. (0.186 per game) Pulisic has played 7 seasons in his career and has 44 in 244 games (0.180 per game) I have no idea what you're trying to achieve talking passing percentages particularly for a winger. As people like to complain about we do a lot of simple none productive passing. Here I thought we measured the quality of an attacking players passing by his number of assists and the chances he creates. To use your own premier league exclusive stats - Willian had 38 assists in 7 seasons. Pulisic has 8 assists in 3 seasons. In terms of chances? Well via understat Willian had more expected assists per 90 even in poor spell at Arsenal than Pulisic has managed in any of his 3 seasons here. Infact Willian only had 1 season of his career here (the ill fated 16/17 season) where he had less expected assists per 90 (0.18) than Pulisic had in his most creative season for us (his 1st were he had 0.22 xA) There's being an idiot and there's trying to argue against statistics, just because you can't help being the former doesn't mean you have to do the latter. Never thought I'd see the day someone would attempt to argue a player is as productive as Willian of all people and still fail 🤣
  5. Well you've proven you don't even know what an opinion is. Referencing reported news by reputable sources isn't an opinion. You may believe we're secretly fighting off huge bids for Pulisic every day and have no intention of signing any other attacking player because Tuchel thinks Pulisic is the man. But the facts presented to the public are that Pulisic averages 4 league goals a season. Tuchel hasn't started him, wants new attacking players and we have not received any actual bids for him from any club. As Rafa would say they're the facts. As for Willian he was criticised heavily for his productivity for years by Chelsea supporters lets not pretend like many didn't take issue with his productivity. Pulisic is even less productive, covers less ground, is significantly worse on every defensive metric, completes less dribbles, is a statistically worse passer.... I'm not sure comparing Pulisic to Willian helps him. As an opinion I thought Willian was great for us. A really talented hard working player who had a really good all around game I loved Willian inspite of his goal scoring record not because of it. As for Pulisics all around game? Well there's a reason Americans try to pretend he's a good finisher when they're arguing his case.
  6. Care to show where exactly I gave an opinion in that post? I'm sure even someone like yourself can understand Pulisic having 44 goals and 25 assists in 244 club career games is a statistical fact. Now whether that's good enough for a winger at an elite club is an opinion and I made the mistake of assuming anyone than can manage to type out a post on an Internet forum regardless of how bad they may be can interpret basic data and understand that's a astonishingly poor record. If you're not one of those that can that's fine you may not be alone here! 😊
  7. Very eloquently put. The real question people should be asking themselves is why United are prepared to spend £60m on a 30 year old Casemiro, have offered £67m for Antony a young talented but unproven wingers in the Dutch league and are linked with throwing out huge sums for a host of other players but they don't want to spend one cent on Pulisic. That really says everything. Casemiro is a fantastic upgrade for them and a great signing unless he completely loses his motivation but that caveat could apply to any player. Top quality and wish he was coming here.
  8. Lmao what? I simply state the facts. Pulisics career stats don't lie. He's a guy that has played 244 games at top attacking clubs that create more chances than most and he has 44 goals and 25 assists in his career. That's really poor. United are literally bottom of the league, in a complete shambles, have had the worst transfer record in Europe over the last decade and already have a younger more talented player that kept Pulisic rooted to the bench. Juventus aren't interested. We were rumoured to have offered Pulisic to them when we wanted De Ligt and Allegri had no interest in him. If he had suitors why haven't we recieved a single offer for him despite it being clear Tuchel doesn't want him? Even the United links were about a loan. A desperate club that are apparently scrambling to throw £100m+ on Felix and £50m on about a dozen other players yet they're not willing to stump up a transfer fee for Pulisic? Doesn't that tell you anything? If we could get a single actual bid for him he wouldn't be here now.
  9. Pulisic has played in a 4-3-3 most his career. Both at Dortmund and Under Frank and has looked absolutely dreadful for 95% of his time on the pitch his entire career under multiple managers and 2 different leagues. Surely at this point you just have to accept the player isn't talented enough for the highest level instead of talking about systems and the coaches set up.
  10. Someone tell me this doesn't read like a Trump tweet.
  11. I really hope your shooting is as inaccurate as our very own Second amendment Sancho's is.
  12. Why did I know you'd be a Trumpie too Lmao I can assure you me and literally no other Chelsea fan will be following the career of Pulisic or remembering him at all here, the biggest contribution of his career is the rabid fanbase that pretend he's some kind of special talent despite all evidence to the contrary. I simply want the best for Chelsea and having a ridiculous number of people from a particular country criticise the manager and the club because their untalented countryman isn't good enough does nothing but create more pushback against Christian. People like you have failed him. Lets play a game - If Pulisic does join United How long do you think it will be till yanks start blaming Ten Haag and Manchester United because Pulisic can't start ahead of Rashford/Sancho/Elanga/Martial etc? I'm guessing November.
  13. I'll weep for you every time your next club gets battered with Pulisic on the bench mate. If it's any consolation I've spoken to about 15 Blues in real life today about the links and none of us want to loan Pulisic to United. It doesn't make any sense. We all want to Sell him to United.
  14. Don't worry mate. Doesn't look like you're going to be short of that sentiment wherever Puli goes. I actually worry for Pulisic if he goe to United, with the current state of the team, the unrest and the anti glazers sentiment. People can see through this signing and if Pulisic performs like well typical Pulisic I think he'll attract a lot of undeserved backlash and blame.
  15. Me outside of Cobham when Pulisic is saying his goodbyes.
  16. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11102927/amp/Liverpool-beats-rivals-Man-United-popular-Premier-League-club-US.html Probably not a coincidence that the media heavily reported United were no longer the most supported team in the States last week and now the glazers want to sign the PR tool. Really surprised they weren't linked with him under Ed Woodward he's the typical United signing but I'm not sure why he'd want to be benched by Sancho again. Also not sure how people don't understand how shirt sales work. Adidas/Nike make the majority of the money from the individual units sold but the value of the fixed contracts they offer each individual club and the value of the contracts shirt sponsors like Three and Whalefin offer us is based entirely on how many shirts they expect the club to sell that's why having marketable players increases club revenue.
  17. This forum is a tier below football twitter when it comes to opinions. It's actually shocking how people can consistently be so wrong about pretty much everything.
  18. Pulisic and Ziyech have been in poor form for 2 years straight. The same front 3 has to start because there is no one else.
  19. When people say they want us to sign the expensive world class players earlier they mean they want the expensive world class players to cost £2.50 Not that they actually want to see the club take on and develop prospects.
  20. What are you rambling on about mate? It's bad enough making ridiculous comments that Loftus Cheek is the new Yaya and a clear upgrade on Kovacic but you really shouldn't argue against imaginary points. I've never suggested we need to get rid of RLC I think he's perfectly servicable as a back up wing back particularly in games Tuchel wants to play Reece central and the way he comes inside when Reece goes up the right works. But RLC absolutely does not work in central midfield. We've seen it time and time again how easily we get cut open with him there because he's so lacidazical with his defending. Infact the only way Ruben is like Yaya is that despite having the physical tools he's an absolute liability in the midfield defensively because he just doesn't track runners I don't understand how anyone who's actually watched us or Ruben play for years would still advocate him playing there. Too much fifa perhaps?
  21. While most pundits aren't particularly insightful they have to put out opinions on every player they're asked about and viewers will always remember the predictions they make that are widely incorrect than the ones they make that come true. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11781822/16380m-for-maguire-is-ridiculous Merse was one of the few that was spot on with Maguire when people randomly started pretending some medicore centre back at Leciester had the potential to be a top 50 centre back in the world for no real reason.
  22. He's improved Pulisic. He's Jumped from a 4 goal a season player to a 5 goal a season player under Tuchel. A whopping 25% improvement. Mount has continued to improve improve. Asking Tuchel to keep polishing turds in his 3rd season here when he's already proven he can coach quality attacking players is simply failing him.
  23. I don't think Tuchel wants to keep Pulisic. He clearly wants at least 1 new forward. Possibly 2 before the window shuts. The problem is he's in the Kepa and Drinkwater category of we can't actually give him away. There's no offers coming in from him he's going to be here till the end of his contract regardless.
  24. He's 26 you absolute clown. People love academy players but it's cringe worthy seeing people pretend they're superstars every time they have a good performance especially if that performances is in a completely different position because they're consistently exposed playing in the one you think he should be playing. "The new Yaya" "a clear upgrade on Kovacic" Kovacic has been named our player of the season more recently than RLC has scored a league goal for us. Not that you'd know that.
