Kai Havertz
Tbf most of them were sh*t and unfit for purpose before we signed them. It isn't like we signed a bunch of stars that flopped. Most of them had never played at the highest level prior to signing for us and the one that had (Lukaku) flopped at that level previously. Werner - Looked good in the worst defensive league in Europe. Havertz - Looked good in the worst defensive league in Europe. Pulisic - looked sh*t in the worst defensive league on Europe. Ziyech - played in the Dutch league. It's not like these guys were top Premier league performers before us. They just don't have the quality for this level it isn't something Tuchel or any manager can fix.

That's why Pep from Wish will never make a decent manager. What senior big name player has Arteta not managed to fall out with?

Random Rumours
Would unironically still take him over Pulisic. Willian got universal criticism at Arsenal yet still had an Xa per 90 over 2 and a half times higher than what Pulisic managed last season. Infact Willian had at least 2x the expected assists per 90 every season he played for us that than what Pulisic has managed in the last 2 seasons. I never understood the Luke Warm reception from some here towards Willian but he was leagues above the dross we have here now. I think he'll do well at Fulham.

Frenkie De Jong, not a rumour but apparently for sale
I'll be honest I completely discounted about Gallagher because I don't see any scenario in which Tuchel plays him in a midfield 2 nor can I see him working in our set up. I think it's clear Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante are the only midfielders Tuchel thinks can play in his set up and the fact 2 of them are over 30 and out of contract next season are why he's apparently pushing so hard for De Jong.

Frenkie De Jong, not a rumour but apparently for sale
I'd argue we do need him given we have exactly 1 premier league quality midfielder who has a contract that doesn't expire next summer. we don't want a repeat of this summers CB situation with our CM's

Would be a fantastic signing for Espanyol tbf.

Or go back to Plan A and take Raphina and Kounde on free transfers. Kessie as well since he can fit in the Uber as well. Christensen can make his own way here.

Back to Kounde if Barca can't register him?

Malang Sarr
I wonder what we'll do with all 15 Sarr shirts that have already been printed.

Random Rumours
That explains why she might want Pulisic then.

Andreas Christensen - The Return
Would be crazy if we reject Christensen now. It takes something truly special to be rejected by the club you choose to leave on a free. Even the thought of it is scary enough to make you want to sh*t yourself.

Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue
I'd rather sell Kante than Jorginho. I can't see us letting Jorgi go for the miniscule fee we'd be offered due to his age and contract situation, I think we'll keep him around this season and in truth I'd like us to extend him. De Jong, Kovacic and are both fantastic on the ball so we're going to have most of the possession whenever we play (Unless against City) so when we're deciding who else to keep it would make much more sense to keep someone who's suited to the style most of our games will play Like Jorgi. Can't have our current top scorer move for a pittance either.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang at Chelsea *Official*
Just look at these finishes Could you imagine Pulisic, Ziyech or Havertz scoring goals like that? Our current attacking options are so bad they've actually got me reminiscing about Higuain

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang at Chelsea *Official*
Far better. He was almost completely finished but he still knew the vague direction of the goal. He still had better than a 1 in 3 goal record in the league for us. (5 goals in 14 games and he was unfit when he signed) Pulisic, Ziyech and Havertz could only dream of having such prolific records for us When Pulisic, Havertz and Ziyech are all on the pitch together it feels like we as a club would be lucky to score 1 goal every 3 games

You say that Like Higuain didn't have a better record for us than Pulisic, Havertz and Ziyech

Frenkie De Jong, not a rumour but apparently for sale
Christensen to return to us on a free. On half his previous wages And a clause entitling us to fine him everytime he sh*ts himself before a big game. I'd actually take Kessie though.

Random Rumours
Pulisic linked with Newcastle today. Hopefully we can sell him quickly before Newcastle remember they've been taken over and have money to spend on top talent.

D) our terrible set of untalented forwards.

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
Tuchel would listen to offers for Pulisic too if there were actually any to listen to.
-
Timo Werner
I'm actually gutted Reading that. I'll miss Timo. Though I'm not sure if it's mainly because of his commitment and work ethic or because he's far better than the dross he leaves behind. Surely we need to strengthen now.

You say Tuchel threw a defensive blanket over the team but we are no worse offensively than under Lampard. If we'd improved defensively and regressed offensively I'd understand the point but we haven't. Lampard actually did far worse when he had new signings, I remember us struggling to create a chance against pretty much any top half team in Lampards 2nd season which is why he got sacked. The football is a bit less entertaining at times but games that are entertaining because the opposition team cut us open regularly are games I'm happy to be less entertaining. I'd disagree on the assessment of our forwards as being let down by Tuchel. You're right they haven't turned sh*t overnight though. Pulisic has always been sh*te. Got bought solely because of his nationality and comerical reasons but has just had the best 2 full seasons of his career under Tuchel (aside from the post lockdown purple patch) Tuchel has improved an untalented player but he isn't good enough. Ziyech and Werner are both deeply deeply flawed players who haven't been able to step up to premier league level despite showing promise in weaker leagues. Lukaku's technical flaws have been apparent for a decade and were glaring the last time he was at a premier league club of our calibre when he flopped at United. It's not like he became a worse player he's just not suited to football at the highest level. These are not top players. None of them would ever start for a single team that has won major trophies in England they're just not good enough. If Mount starts regressing or top quality proven players like Sterling start struggling under Tuchel then by all means question him but it's clearly a personnel issue holding us back going forward. I think Pulisic is the player that encapsulates it the most, he's been a crappy 4 goal a season bench warmer his entire 7 year career in 2 different leagues and multiple different managers. In that time Tuchel has had Mainz, Dortmund (With Puli on the bench) and PSG playing excellent attacking football with some quality players playing the best football of their careers. Now that they're both at Chelsea if it isn't clicking for us going forward I think it's a very illogical position to point the finger at the one with a record of success.

Edouard Mendy to Chelsea!
Kepa is literally the worst shot stopper in premier league history.

Why would Man City sell Bernardo for €50m

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
The formation is very defensive because Lampard conceded 77 goals in 58 games. That's horrific. That's record setting levels of goals conceded. The fact Tuchel has kept our attacking output constant while managing to concede 31 less goals (over a goal every 2 games) is an incredible achievement and shows what progress he's made with the team. He's took a team that conceded 1.32 goals a game and brought that down to 0.79 per game with no defensive reinforcements. Both starting fullbacks being injured for a good chunk of that time with no replacements and his best defender being a 37 year old who Lampard has when he was slightly springer. Tuchel has done a fantastic job to that regard. There's no hope of making us better going forward as long as championship standard dross like Pulisic and players unsuited to the league like Ziyech and Werner occupy our forward roles. Tuchel has shown he can set the team up to both be solid while still achieving the same offensive output as Lamps Kamikaze football now we just need to get him some more quality up front and a creative presence in midfield and we'll see our offensive metrics improve.
