Anthony Gordon
Tbf he replaces CHO's goal output perfectly.

Wilfried Zaha
No one scores every chance but the difference between him and the rest of our frontline is he actually scores some of them. Not his best performance today but we all know Zaha is going to score double figures in the league again this season wherever he plays while we're going to have to try convincing ourselves Pulisic and Ziyech have turned the corner when they score their 3rd goals of the season in March if we don't bring in improvements. At £25m due to his contract situation Zaha is worth a punt.

Wilfried Zaha
Wonderful finish by Zaha to put Palace ahead at Anfield. How many seasons does Zaha have to outperform our wingers before people here stop pretending he isn't a massive upgrade on what we have?

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
As promising as the Sarri season was for Ruben it does come with the small caveat that they were the last league goals he actually scored for us. And given his season on loan at Fulham where he started the entire season behind the striker his solitary goal all season was basically a deflected own goal I'm not sure he's the answer to our lack of goal threat in midfield. He may be more Yaya than Kovacic is but at this point it's like arguing which of the 2 Albinos has the best tan.

Why would you even write that when you know it simply isn't going to happen. People aren't going to stop watching football due to bad refereeing decisions if they did the sport would have died decades ago. People get angry when decisions go against their teams, they blame the referees, sometimes claim there's an agenda or the game itself is corrupt but they'll watch the game next week all the same.

Christian Pulisic - Official
The real question is why anyone would call him a super sub. He's as uninspiring an attacking sub as we've ever had. Super subs regularly change games even if solely by virtue of allowing the team to play a different way like Giroud did. Pulisic is far from a game changer.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
What a shockingly bad comment. Calling RLC better than Kovacic or the New Yaya based on one game he played at RWB boggles the mind. Think it's massively unfair to Kovacic who's been consistently excellent for us to suggest RLC is an upgrade on him.

Anthony Gordon
We got massively ripped off on Chilwell. He's decent but I still don't see how he was worth 50m and we've now signed a better player in his position for a bigger fee.

Armando Broja
It was around 10 minutes and the short period is the point. When you've got such little time there's no excuse for not putting all your energy into it. He wasn't pressing well when he came on, there was one particular period where Spurs defenders were passing it around I think it was Romero to Dier with Broja lazily ambling around and not pressing with intensity. As the freshest legs on the pitch he should have been leading the press so it was really disappointing to see.

Frenkie De Jong, not a rumour but apparently for sale
Harsh on such a fantastic servant for the club to force him to sit for a year as 3rd or 4th choice left back. Alonso has earned his move if we don't intend to use him at all this season we shouldn't stand in his way at all.

Ridiculous comment. If we're going to depend solely on VAR it is a waste of time employing and training referees to be on the pitch. Taylor had a clear unobstructed view of Cucurella getting physically abused 5 yards away if he can't see or give that he has no business being on the football pitch. Mike Dean and Var should intervene but there's no excusing baldys lack of basic ability to referee a football match not just in the big incidents but how his cards only apply to one club.

Armando Broja
Not based on how Lazy he was when he came on against Spurs he doesn't. You'd hope he'd be chomping at the bit to prove himself and be giving absolutely everything in the time he has on the pitch but his intensity didn't match the starters yesterday which was disappointing.

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
Feels about right. We really didn't create much. We dominated the midfield and anyone watching could tell we were all over them and they couldn't get out. But we didn't actually create too much or force Lloris into doing anything. It was a perfect performance in terms of intensity, aggression, tactics and work ethic but a pretty low quality performance in regards to what we actually did with the ball in the final third once we won it off spurs so agressively.

Marc Cucurella
I expect Cucurella to have a skin head against Leeds.

Random Rumours
Is that really necessary?

Christian Pulisic - Official
I don't know what kind of coverage you Yanks get but if you can show me a single none American analysts who highlighted a single positive in Pulisics cameo I'll buy a Pulisic shirt. I don't recall him even being mentioned by Sky he came on and instantly faded as usual. Gallagher was bright but both Broja and Pulisic were lethargic and lazy when they came on which is unforgivable in a Derby in which our starters provided so much intensity As the poster above you stated pretty much everyone knows Pulisic wasn't signed for footballing reasons but If you're going to be the least talented player in the squad you better be busting a gut every single minute you get on the pitch. No one outside of Hershey is expecting any quality from Pulisic but when you've got 15 minutes surely even he can provide some kind of intensity against tired legs?

Leeds v Chelsea (PL) Sun 21st Aug 2022 14:00 GMT
Broja shouldn't get near the pitch after today. Thought both he and Pulisic looked lazy when they came on which for me is unforgivable given the intensity we played with prior to them coming on. Havertz lacked quality today and if we sign another attacking player this week will likely be dropped but to be fair he put a shift in.

N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
De Jong. Who do we ask to press Leeds next week? Leicester the week after? Southampton the week after that? De Jong can do that if we sign him. Once again Kante is unfortunately in a position where he can't due to his fitness and it's an all too regular story over the last few seasons.
-
Anthony Gordon
We need at least 2 new forwards if CHO goes on loan so I'm not so sure. It could be Auba + Gordon
-
N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
Saw both sides of Kante. Both his absolute quality and the reason we should have moved him on this summer and why we need De Jong. It's a shame but he has 1 year left and he just can't stay fit. The central of midfield is such a key part of the team and vital to how Tuchel wants us to play and we can't rely on Kante to be fit. We can't manage his minutes by taking him off every game there's big games. close games like today were we'll need him for 90 minutes and it's a shame his body just can't do it. A real shame as he was great today a really top performance.

Christian Pulisic - Official
Why does this man literally hide every time he comes on? Seeing Pulisic come on is like when Jose used to bring on Mikel (without the defensive stability) you just know we're done going forward for the day. It's not even that he was bad he comes on fresh against tired legs and he's just a complete none entity almost every time. Not the reason we dropped points but it's so frustrating to see the frontline work so hard Albeit with a lack of quality at times and then the subs to be such a massive drop in energy even when they only have 15 minutes. Broja was guilty of it too. They should be chasing absolutely everything.
