  1. Why think about songs when people are calling for Chelsea to be banned from next year's Champion's league.
  2. Arsenal are useless without Arshavin, fair play.
  3. He is on top form at the moment. Lets just hope he keeps it till the end of the season!! Regarding a new winger, for me, Ribery is the only one that really fits the bill. Possibly David Silva. But Ribery is just world class. Easily my favourite player outside Chelsea.
  4. Middlesbrough v Manchester United 02/05/2009 12:45 BST Chelsea v Fulham 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Manchester City v Blackburn 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Portsmouth v Arsenal 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Stoke v West Ham 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Tottenham v West Bromwich 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Wigan v Bolton 02/05/2009 15:00 BST Liverpool v Newcastle 03/05/2009 13:30 BST Sunderland v Everton 03/05/2009 16:00 BST Aston Villa v Hull 04/05/2009 20:00 BST
  5. Great one of Ivanovic
  6. Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaankie Lampard! Awesome performance, ruled the show. And I have 2 questions. 1) Alex? 2) Mike?
  7. Bolton v Aston Villa 25/04/2009 15:00 BST Everton v Manchester City 25/04/2009 15:00 BST Fulham v Stoke 25/04/2009 15:00 BST Hull v Liverpool 25/04/2009 15:00 BST West Bromwich v Sunderland 25/04/2009 15:00 BST West Ham v Chelsea 25/04/2009 15:00 BST Manchester United v Tottenham 25/04/2009 17:30 BST Arsenal v Middlesbrough 26/04/2009 13:30 BST Blackburn v Wigan 26/04/2009 16:00 BST Newcastle v Portsmouth 27/04/2009 20:00 BST Thanks Chippy!! :)
  8. Can't argue with that. Maybe Quaresma deserves a shot though...?
  9. Gone for 2-0. Everton wil prove a tough nut to crack, when up pops Didier half way through the 2nd half. I hope.
  10. Well my Dad started supporting them when he was in school, but being 16 years old, 1996 was the year that clinched it. Well, not the year, one man. Anyone who doesn't know what man it was should be shot ;)
  11. 1) Is the Premier League still attainable, and what for you would represent a succesful season at this stage of the year? Unfortunately, I doubt it. 4 points is too much to make up with only 8 or so games to go. 2) You struggled for consistancy after a strong start to the campaign. Is Scolari solely to blame? Not solely, but a big chunk. He didn't inspire the players to play for him at all, besides possibly the 2-1 v Stoke. But you could argue that was all Lampard's doing... 3) Hiddink has been a clear success in his short time at the club. Which would you prefer, Hiddink to stay but no trophies, or to simply win a trophy and wave goodbye to Hiddink? That's actually a very interesting question. I'd love Hiddink to stay, but I'd like us to get at least one trophy by the end of this season. I can't decide, sorry mate. 4) Who do you feel is the man most apt to fill the managerial role? Jose Mourinho! Jose Mourinho! Jose Mourniho! Jose Mourinho! But I wouldn't be dissapointed with your man Moyes, sorry :o 5) Jose has been linked by the press to the Manchester United job when SAF finally packs it in, he was also briefly mentioned for the Liverpool job. What would your feelings be if he ever took these jobs? He'd lose some respect from me, but he'd still remain as the best Chelsea manager ever. 6) What are your views on Everton's season? I think they've done better than was expected, and considering your incredible trouble with no strikers, it's a pretty awesome season on your part. Well done! 7) What are your predictions for the game, and what are your predictions for the final? Ohhh. It's at the Bridge so I'm thinking a 2-0 Chelsea. But Everton have given us a few problems in the past. As for the final - I'd rather not decide. I always jinx important games. Thanks
  12. HAHAHAHAHA No arguing with the BBC predictor!!
  13. 2-3?!?!?!?!?! This can't be happening...can it?!
  14. 2-2!!! Arshavin!! Brilliant goal!!
  15. Might is the big word there, with Man City useless away from home and Tottenham totally unreliable. Arsenal should give them a few issues, as long as they have nearly 100% fit defence (without Gallas mind).
  16. The SPL is too small a league for them to lose 2 teams. There's only 11 in the top division at the moment anyway. That'd mean having to bring 2 teams up from the first division into the SPL, then 2 teams from the second division into the first division etc etc etc. And it would have an impact on the PL if they came up aswell. Do we have a league of 22? Silly, silly suggestion.
  17. I doubt we will, as that was purely an experiment that payed off under Jose and Grant didn't move far from Jose's style. Hiddink probably knows about that, but he's a clever man and knows that centre mid is his best position.
  18. Couldn't agree with you more. Considering we payed about £24 million for him, he's given us 3 and a half awesome years (didn't count the Scolari era). Even in his first season he got about 15 goals which is pretty good going! Please stay, Drogs!!!
  19. LOVE the Hiddink one!!! And the 2nd Ivanovic v Liverpool one!! Keep them coming, they're awesome :)
  20. Chances are it'll be on ITV cause that's the terrestrial channel and everyone can watch it.
  21. And Hiddink has all of that, especially number 4 - 4-4 anyone? Looking at our form, we'd definitely be right up there in first or at the most a point behind. But then again, we'd only be a point behind had we not lost to Spuds.
  22. I do think because Man City are out of Europe if it's down between Chelsea and Man City for a top player, that player should choose Chelsea cause he'll know we're challengers every year. Unless you're Robinho of course.
  23. And what's brilliant is, when he said about Chelsea it showed everyone singing and waving their flags proudly but when he said about Liverpool, they were all standing there arms folded and glum faced. Brilliant
  24. I keep getting them monthly and it's issue 50 something with "Golden Guus" as the cover title.
