Posted April 29, 200916 yr Which team do you want to qualify? Considering ManU has almost won the title there's no point to wish them play as much as possible. On the other side Arse is a better opponent in final, if we'll be there, considering usual for them injury situation. So, I'm for Arsenal. Shame Shava is ineligeble. April 29, 200916 yr Of course I want Arsenal. They are a team I would feel immensely more comfortable playing against than the Mancs. That being said, the chances of the Gooners progressing is small to none, unless something exceptional happens.
April 29, 200916 yr Author Actually, Walcott impresses more and more. Next year Arsenal, keeping their squad, reducing the number injuries and maybe signing 1 great defender (Kompany, Heitinga ...) must become a geniune title chaser. .............Adebayor........... Arshavin.............Walcott ....Nasri(Eboue).............Denilson .................Fabregas........ This guys can perform.

April 29, 200916 yr 1-0 to Manure in the first leg and, as with our game, all to play for in a week's time. Still, the signs are there for United. Let's hope we get a repeat of the final last year. We have some pay back to do !
April 29, 200916 yr Unless half the ShedEnders are out partying and the other half are getting l**d, I really don't understand this total lack of interest in a game that decides our potential opponent at the CL final. (But if the above is true, then I am one very, very sad motherf****r. ) Edited April 29, 200916 yr by Virosh
April 29, 200916 yr Couldn't see Arsenal winning this one. Put a £30 bet on Utd to win and made myself a tidy £25...RESULT!!!!
April 30, 200916 yr Im happy with the result as it went. Man Utd had plenty of chances and only capitalized on one. Hopefully the second leg is on a knife edge, goes to extra time , and both teams are knackered. Im not so confident of beating Arsenal if we get to Rome. I think going there is the kind of boost that team will need for their confidence, and lord knows they are capable of beating anyone when confident. However, if its Man U we face, they might be stronger on paper, but will be knackered from the title race, and our players will still have Moscow fresh in their minds. Its definitely a toss up, but for revenge's sake I will definitely take Man U in the final at this point. Plus, potentially losing to Arsenal in the first all-London CL final ever is a gutting thought. Then again, I guess the thought of losing to the Mancs twice is just as bad
May 5, 200916 yr winning it is more important than revenge and arsenal would be a much easier prospect in the final and *if* we don't make it then Barcelona will tear them a new 1 in the final. I think Utd would give Barca serious problems team news (ish) http://www.skysports.com/football/match_pr...3132703,00.html Edited May 5, 200916 yr by ethicalstrategy

Last season left us "Manure'd" with a score of Scholes at Old Trafford. If we claim to be the best in Europe (based on form) today, we will have to prove our worth as Trophy-valid Footballers as well. It will be good for the fans too.

May 5, 200916 yr I would prefer Arsenal to go through (obviously so long as we do) but think Utd will walk it tonight! Arsenal have looked really bad and have no idea what they are even doing in the semi's.

The way we lost on penalties to them last year still hurts - so revenge against Manure would be perfect for us too!
May 5, 200916 yr Could not bring myself to ever want arsenal to go though unless they were playing Liverscum. If we go though I rather meet manure again.
May 5, 200916 yr I'm a bit torn on this one. A big part of me can't bring myself to want Arsenal to win but another part of me says that if we beat Barcelona then Arsenal will be the easier opposition in the final, especially given that their domestic seaosnis totally over now and they can rest players at will. As a result I think I am totally neutral and will be able to eatch the game not caring who wins and hoping for an on the pitch fight and 6 red cards!
May 5, 200916 yr And in the second leg it is all over with mancs 2-0 up already in the 10th minute. There is no way arse are scoring 4.

May 5, 200916 yr Can I just say.... Haaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha!
May 5, 200916 yr doesn't surprise me...arse played lightweight teams to get this far...man u are the first decent side they've played...they were lucky to avoid getting stuffed in the first leg and now they're getting creamed on their own pitch...tyldesley is coming up with this young team bollox...how come wenger constantly gets away with failure?
May 5, 200916 yr Still early and don't forget the voyeur is a tricky rascal. He is, but I doubt he has enough cards up his sleeve to score 4 goals in this game (maybe more if Manure score again).
May 5, 200916 yr funny too that itv have had the two worst legs of the semi-final...our one in the camp nou and this dead tie now
May 5, 200916 yr They will be lucky to score one! As I say, I have no idea how the Goons even made it this far, you might as well throw MK Dons in on the semi finals, Arsenal are sh*te!
