dennisbutnotwisey reacted to OriginalS in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerHe may not be but I would take the Lampard that showed up in 2019 over our current manager ANY day. Played much better football, got better results and also knew full well what this club was about so he had the right mentality. So we didn't hear excuses every week and while results were inconsistent achieving 4th and a FA-Cup final in his first year with that squad was a big achievement. Unraveled a bit towards the end and I don't think Everton was the right club for him but at least here he had a clear style of play and at times there was a lot to be excited about.

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Sexyfootball in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerLooking at how much better organised, motivated and well-drilled Everton are looking today after 5 days of work with a decent manager, Potter doesn't really have a leg to stand on with all the excuses does he ?

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Frankfurter in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerOur manager's favourite response to any difficult situation is 'it is what it is'. Maybe Graham, but 'it isn't what it should be!'.

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to The Rising Sun in Kai HavertzHe's not a centre forward no matter how talented he might be.
FFS stop playing him in that position I think there's a very good player in him, but it's not at centre forward

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to timetowaste in Mason MountFelix in for Mount and D. Fofana in for Havertz would definitely be an improvement

dennisbutnotwisey got a reaction from strider6004 in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerSooner or later Potter will be sacked as mediocre football surely isn't viable to the business plan but I wouldn't say its all down to Potter.
I still think we will improve, players are returning and will get sharper etc, but I don't see us challenging for anything for a while.
Kai Havertz leading the line is not good enough and many others are not up to it.
Positives are the defence, we've tightened up with Badiashile and Enzo has the quality to play anywhere in the midfield.
We just have to have faith at the moment and accept that we are rebuilding.

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to enigma in Kai HavertzHe must have been incredible at Bayer Leverkusen, because I'm yet to see anything of that and he's now in his third season here.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to KonaKai Blue in Kai HavertzJust like our midfield was held back by Jorginho, make no mistake, this guy massively holds us back in attack. It's very damaging. Don't think it's lack of confidence. He just really isn't that good of a footballer.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to BordeauxBlue in Kai HavertzHorrific performance yet again.
Never on the same wave length, wants the ball to feet when he should go into space and vice versa. Zero presence...
His lack of confidence and form is truly shocking. Can't wait to see Felix back in the team to be able to drop him.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Sconnie Blue in Kai HavertzThe last line of excuses this bloke was getting was that he needed better players around him.
Starting to sound funny now isn't it?
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to RMH in Mason MountBuff, he was very poor last night. Needs to be on the bench until he recovers his form.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Blue72 in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerWe all know we are rebuilding but really do we have to put up and watch this clueless horrendous backward Potter football, there has been no progression week after week, I have never seen a top team play this turgid football as they rebuild and that includes Utd Arsenal or any of the top European teams. These players on the pitch are just following orders the gaps in middle last night was jaw dropping I know we have Kante and Kova out but a decent manager sorts this out and makes adjustments on the training ground. Some of our performances this season have been truly amateurish and that's on Potter

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Nitro in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerA few weeks ago I posted tongue in cheek that we would be lucky to score another 5 goals this season, unfortunately this may turn out to be the case.
No goals and turgid football is a recipe for sliding into the bottom danger zone.
Failure breeds failure and Potter does not look the man to steer us away from long term mediocrity.
-
For the first time I find myself questioning is he the right man for the job? I think the lack of improvement after having a full two weeks together bar Enzo is alarming. Last night I expected to see improvement tactically, not the finished product but something that showed we are heading in the right direction. Instead we got another insipid performance lacking in any kind of attacking nouse, we really are awful to watch at present. Given this season is in all probability now dead, we should give him till the end of the season to show he is the right man to lead us forward.
-
More like when we get a proper top class manager who can organize us again. I think we could be a great side tomorrow with the right manager.
It doesn't matter how good your individual players are when the man in charge can't make them play as a unit. It took our last manager one 1.5 hour evening session to make us a organized and coherent unit. Potter is into his sixth month at the club and just had two full weeks at Cobham with pretty much everyone except Enzo and we look dogsh*t.

dennisbutnotwisey got a reaction from dkw in Man City 11 vs Chelsea 11He'll say the same when we sign Mbappe in the summer.
sh*te player, sh*te pundit is Murphy and in all honesty who cares what he says.

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to dkw in Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina nowIf Liverpool had signed him for the same cost he would have spent hours telling everyone how amazing a deal it was and he was worth every penny.
Basically he's a bellend.

dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Zeta in Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina nowDon't know why we're wasting our time. They've been clear since day they want it all in 1 lump sum.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to WhiteWall in Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina nowI just can't see this happening to be honest, it's midday already and nothing more seems to have happened. That's half of the day gone.
-
dennisbutnotwisey reacted to Scott Harris in Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina nowI'm going to put the insane money being spent to the back of my head and just go with it. Trying to understand how we'll come out of this without any problems down the road isn't worth concerning ourselves with at this point. We'll just have to trust that they know what they are doing.
