Swerved reacted to Nibs in Reece JamesFunny, I felt exactly the opposite. Thought he looked rusty and leggy last night. Little bit disconcerting how he struggled to keep up with the West Ham player when he picked up the yellow card. The hamstring issue always at the back of his mind?
-
Agreed. Maresca's lack of a plan B shown itself here. He wanted us to play exactly like we have been playing all season, but you can't do that against a low block. It was the same against Crystal Palace and he hasn't learned anything from it. His subs were way too late as well, and in all honesty, Nkunku should have started the game. Jackson has never performed well against a low block in his Chelsea career, nothing was going to change today, and if anything, he probably had his worst performance. He did nothing.
I don't think Enzo or Sancho should have started either. Those are two more players I don't want up against a low block. I've said enough about Enzo already, but Sancho is all about precision passes, we don't need that against this type of team. We needed players running at the full back and stretching defenders, which is why Madueke was only one that looked threatening.

Swerved reacted to RMH in Jadon SanchoAnd we’ll see Mudryk for a while as that seems to be the board’s orders (I don’t know why Maresca would play him otherwise)… The board seem to have a shopping addiction and buy without any plan whatsoever.
-
Swerved reacted to WhiteWall in Jadon SanchoI wouldn't assume anything with the dickwads running us now.

Swerved reacted to DarkMata in Joao FelixWe all know the situation at Chelsea is far from perfect but the medias over the top exaggerated nonsense is infuriating. The amount of times the 40 plus squad is recycled in the news while ignoring the facts is a good illustration of the state of today's media propaganda. The original list is disingenuous to start off, including players that are obviously out the door like Lukaku with youth players scattered about, a couple probably from the under 12's just to exaggerate the point. Now with more players like Sterling, Chilwell clearly not in Marescas plans and a number of players now out on loan they're still referring to this hyperbolic 40 plus list.
So having made a mountain out of the squad size now they're sensationalising the fact we are now reducing the squad size. With most pundits jumping on the bandwagon to kick Chelsea it's a good yardstick to show which pundits have sense and not just a mouthpiece for the agenda. Carragher and Neville clearly fail the test.
At the end of the day if the squad is reduced to a workable number for Enzo and he has a competitive squad then what's all the polavour about. You can question some of the business but that's normal for any transfer window. I really do hope we smash the league and win multiple trophies if just to shut these muppets up.

Swerved reacted to PloKoon13 in Joao FelixWe bought him for more than we sold Gallagher for, and we're stuck with him for seven years. We know these two players; we know that Conor is brilliant at everything and will bleed for the club, and we know that Félix is lazy and inept.
I really don't know what to say. Just when you think BlueCo have hit the nadir of incompetence, they find unimaginable ways to surprise you. BlueCo are a f**king farce.

Swerved reacted to Edjmendy in Raheem Sterling signs for ChelseaHow do you expect any sane club have it’s players achieve to their maximum when the players have had so much changes and upheaval. 5 managers in 2-3 yrs. No player who’s been with the club when the new owners took over can perform other these conditions. Unfortunately Sterling is one of them. The others have all left.
-
Swerved reacted to PloKoon13 in Raheem Sterling signs for ChelseaInept squad management. The club is run by people lacking basic intelligence. They need to not be involved in making mutli-million pound decisions.

Swerved reacted to RMH in Raheem Sterling signs for ChelseaI don’t rate Sterling much, I did dislike his behaviour in some of the games last season, and am not bothered if he gets sold. I don’t like that he released that statement.
However, the situation with him highlights the madhouse that this board is creating at Chelsea FC. The fact that the coach said he counted on Sterling and then, days later, the same coach had to leave him out of the team, shows how much of a random strategy this lot are running. There’s no plan with this lot, one day they want something and the following day they want the opposite. I was quite supportive of them at the beginning but, it is becoming evident that they are not very sound of mind and I just can’t see any plan on how to build a team (rather than a collection of players). And, I’m starting to feel that they are not very sure how to run economically the club, had we saved part of all the money spent on kids with potential, we might not have needed to sell players for pure profit. Also, what’s the strategy of having to buy a teams player so that the said team gets the funds to buy our player? It’s just madness and chaos.
-
Swerved reacted to bluetrooper in Conor GallagherWe had to sign felix so Atletico could afford to buy him. We are effectively paying for his move to Atletico. We dont know the contract that was offered and why it was turned down.
But the fact that other senior players in the squad are all being pushed out as well is an indication how the twats upstairs are running us. Im not going to see it any other way.

Swerved reacted to GarnachoCheese in Conor GallagherOur squad is significantly weaker now.

Swerved reacted to El regreso in Conor GallagherPush out by f**king 🤡🤡🤡
I hate these f**kers so much who are in charge!!!
I really don’t care how many titles we win in the future with these lot I will forever HATE THEM!!!
And I do mean HATE!!!
No love for them ever.

Swerved reacted to Gunslinger in Conor GallagherWasn't a huge fan of him and looking at the fees it's more or less a swap with Felix which isn't the worst.
However the club is steeped in a toxic culture and the treatment of the academy players and young ones is a disgrace.
These owners are killing us and the reputation of the club is officially in the gutter. I can't describe how much I detest Todd and his band of crooks.

Swerved reacted to DrBlue in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!We literally need to set the lineup by putting Palmer into position first and working from there. If that means Enzo is on the bench so be it, captain or not.
-
Positives? Try to twist it any way you want but the only positive was that we were not absolutely and utterly abysmal.
It's as we expected - easily beaten by a very strong team whilst we cobble together a side of variable quality footballers from a bloated squad of random signings.
Meanwhile some c**t yank accountant with a sh*t haircut sits in the stands wondering why a Baseball strategy doesn't work for football.
-
I think it is too early for doom and gloom. I thought in general we played well, but our midfield and winger balance was very bad.
Nkunku didn't want to defend and we all know Palmer doesn't want to defend so it was so easy for City to attack our fb. This not new. Poch spent all season trying to get Mudryk and Madueke to go back defend.
Maresca decision to play Nkunku as lw is criminal though.
Midfield wise, the same thing, Gallagher was our key player in term of making caicenzo balance.
-
The bottom line is that under strength City team where there for the taking and we played them like a friendly This club has not moved 1 inch forward since these clowns took over They have sent us years backwards, destroyed the atmosphere at the bridge and totally disillusioned the fan base
-
It wasn't that bad.
Another new manager, with new tactics, playing against the Champions , we were always going to be outclassed.
And we've got millions of players to choose from to eventually get it right during Enzo's five years .
-
Our defence was much better that usual, much more organised
-
What ? Salvinho was tearing him a new one until he got injured I was watching through my fingers every time he got the ball
-
What was the point of sacking Poch for this guy again? Now we're going to have to deal with another season of transition
-
Enzo and Caicedo are an embarrassment for the money that's been spent on them. Lavia has to start, and he has to find a way to fit Palmer or Nkunku into the number 10 role.
-
Gallagher would have been far more useful this game than Enzo...
-
We are going to need to address this Enzo situation sooner rather than later. He offers absolutely nothing in this role and he's probably not as good as Lavia or Caicedo deep.
-
That wasn't Fofana's fault. He was put in a horrible position because we were messing around at the back. Then both Caicedo and Enzo shirked out of challenges
