Jackson played really well today. One of his better games.

Obviously, we'd rather have an owner who is focused on the actual team and sport and not on returning a profit. Boehly is far from perfect but he's a far better option than Clearlake.

Back to what we saw all last year. He simply can't be the guy we look to or a guy who starts in the big games.

Fair comment. There is always a chance there is some other story that comes out later. At this point, it simply looks like the Osimhen team was not going to budge off of their basic level and Chelsea were never ever in that range, i.e. they were always FAR apart. If that is true then it was ridiculous to continue to spend time negotiating.

Yeah, and they were SO far off they should have moved on days and probably weeks ago. If a negotiation is that far apart then it isn't worth spending any time on it and you need to move on to something else.

The Osimhen saga is a disgrace. How the club and the player can be so far apart and continue on and on is ridiculous. The communication between them must have been conducted between complete idiots.

It will nice when this saga ends no matter which way it goes. We need to try somebody else up top and I'll be happy with Toney or Osimhen giving it a go.
