April 7, 20242 yr I know I mentioned this briefly in another thread the other say but I'm genuinely now at the point where it has to be a serious consideration. Jackson has just put in yet another f**king appalling 90 minutes of football and all we have to look forward to next year is more of the same plus the return of a massively sub standard Broja. Lukaku certainly wouldn't be worse than either of them and, it pains me to say it, I think he would be an improvement. Over to you @just

April 7, 20242 yr Would take your hand off for him back next season! We have chunts now running the club that actually make Big Rom likeable!

Over to you @just From a purely performance perspective I don't think many would argue that right now, Lukaku would likely give us far more cutting edge up top than Broja or Jackson. However, for me Loz it's not as simple as that. In life decisions sometimes have to be made in line with principles of what's right against what would actually be the best outcome. In my opinion there is no way back for Lukaku, and anyway he himself doesn't want to come back. He has shown too much disrespect to the club and the fans with his words and actions. And not just here at Chelsea. I also think his attitude and behaviour would set completely the wrong example to young, impressionable players. If he came out and publically apologised for what he has said and done then, maybe, there could be a way back. But he isn't going to do that so, f**k him.

Even Jimmy Jay Morgan has looked better recently

Over to you @just A motivated Lukaku would certainly be a major upgrade in attack for us, but all bridges are burned unfortunately. He doesn’t want to be here, the majority of fans will (righly) never forgive him. The sulky, moody Lukaku we would get would in my view drag us even further down - hard as it may be to believe after yesterday

Don’t like the geyser one bit however provided with service think he’s got goals in him.
April 8, 20242 yr I never want to see Lukaku in a Chelsea shirt again, even if he scored about 50 goals for Roma. And you'll be amazed to know Jackson has scored more goals than Lukaku this season, Lukaku has been bang average ever since he signed for us. So I don't think he's going to help us with anything. Truth be told, I always thought Lukaku was massively overrated anyway. I don't get carried away with performances in the Serie A, I think his best career stint was at Everton which was years ago, he flopped at United, did well at Inter Milan which like I said, I don't think Serie A performances are an amazing feat. I think it's his international career that's put him on a pedestal as this "world class" player, but some players turn it up internationally, and others don't. Klose was a goal machine for Germany, not so much at club level, it doesn't always correlate. So my conclusion is this, I don't even think Lukaku would improve us if he were to come play here.
August 24, 20241 yr Thank f**k for that. Worst ever signing in the history of signings. Not because of the price or the talent or the expectation but because of the person. Horrible example for any young player and not even a leader for himself.
August 24, 20241 yr Thank gawd he's finally actually going to be off of our payroll. It took SOOOO long.
August 29, 20241 yr Easily my least favourite Chelsea player we've ever had, thank f**k he's gone. And we literally employed Alonso who killed someone.
August 29, 20241 yr Has he really gone? I will miss him, his sense of humour endless energy on the pitch and his love for Chelsea.
