Absolutely. Still has a way to go but he has time on his side and can only get better with elite coaching (i guess 🙄) and weekly top level game experience. Im hopeful, barring any confidence issues.

I dont by any stretch think gallacher is a player who should be starting every game for us once we improve our squad in the future (fingers crossed we do) but right now we would be absolutely nuts to sell gallacher, not only do we need him for the rest of the season but we also need an additional midfielder to challenge gallacher, enzo and caicedo, (since lavia and chukwumeka are not fit to).

Hall is hardly playing for newcastle. Id offer him a route back and overlook their obligation to buy if they were happy to do so as his opportunities suggest. Rb, agreed reece is a write off, cash in and get frimpong.

I think a huge issue in our current situation is a complete lack of competition for places, we basically have no squad, just the starting 11, then youth players. Enzo performs average, he still gets on the teamsheet next week, and he knows it. Blame that on injuries and to a small degree you are right, but honestly its bigger than that. There is no seasoned midfielders to challenge, even if all are fit, just unproven youth. I dont think thats poch's fault, i dont believe he had much say in the transfers. But i certainly wont argue with the fact poch is not getting the best out of this group. I think its inevitable he doesnt see the season. How can he if we continue with this form. At this point i'd eat my words and welcome mourinho back.

A while ago i was looking at these fixtures thinking we might not even pick up one point between now and december, but we are now already there and feel bad about it, that is a big step in the right direction. However, It would seem at this point our only january priority should be a world class goalkeeper. The striker talk is of less importance imo.

Already an integral part of our team and he is going to get so much better with consistent game time.

Oh ofcourse, because what we really need right now is an experienced and vastly overpaid star who has seen his best days, who can sit on the bench because we play better without him. Yup that'll sort it.

I dont think i am being sensationalist in saying that we are sleep walking our way towards a relegation battle this season. Mistake after mistake is made by our out of touch owners and selling senior players to buy a youth team is sheer madness. Loaning santos to forest when hes more advanced in his play than ugochukwu is sheer madness. And just imagine if the gallacher sale had gone through, which they were fully happy to do. We are already pretty screwed and they were 1 step from making it far worse. No confidence in the owners id be happy to see big protests against them.

Mudryk is mentally weak, hes not dealing with the pressure at all. How long do you keep giving minutes to a player who is performing soooo badly? Lets not lose sight of the fact mudryk is not a kid, he'll be 23 in a matter of months. Late developer or just not good enough? Truth is we could take a raw 18 year old winger out of our youth team and stick them in the first team and i guarantee they would not be any worse than mudryk.

Wouldnt it be a great idea to play players in their actual positions (chilwell). Wingback systems seem to be the best way to kill a good player in their tracks. Go to a back 4 and disasi moves to bench warmer.

Of all the players we have loaned out to teams, dont strasborg only have angelo gabriel?. They dont seem to exactly be our first choice destination, so whats the point really? 🤔. Just our owners throwing money around for no real benefit.

I'm losing hope of a turn around by him at this point. He looked better in pre season, and then hes back to his panic station for real games. With cole palmer coming in its just another player to potentially move ahead of him in the pecking order. He looks light weight, he also looks like he needs a loan to play regularly enough to grow....but we paid too much to be loaning him out. Fact is we paid established star money for a tricky player with potential whos 50/50 on whether he makes it or not. Poor judgement just like the cucurella deal.

I guess they are pinning hopes on brojas comeback at this point. 🤔
