Sunspear_88 got a reaction from markpitts in Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea (PL) Tuesday 21st April 20:00 GMTtwo attacking players is ridiculous. One of them has been sh*te all season, the other is mediocre at best.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Speedie in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCThis is feeling like a sabotage job. It's that mad that nothing surprises me at this point. It's not just the men's team. The women's team is regressing as well.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from KonaKai Blue in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCTo be fair, PSG play in a league where they are favourites to win it every season. The Premier League is far more competitive and we are competing against 4/5 other top clubs for players. I agree with you on our strategy being underwhelming, and that the ownership should have been far better at building our squad and the the coach they recruited, but the likes of Bayern and PSG have it easy because of the lack of competition they are up against in their respective leagues.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Upb78 in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!I mean I'm done caring who leaves or who doesn't. If the club continue to hire sh*t then we go nowhere anyway. Enzo is a good player and we'd miss his leadership qualities, but players come and go. He's been here for 3/4 seasons and isn't progressing to potentially winning trophies, so I cannot blame him for wanting out, especially if a Real Madrid came in. These players were sold a dream that hasn't transpired.

Sunspear_88 reacted to forbzy in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCBy the sound of things, many clubs were doing similar things but we had attracted scrutiny which was probably connected to our success under Roman. I suspect he had seen some of this attention coming in the last few years as we notably eased off on the transfer front and focused on rebuilding the academy. I'd argue that the strong academy set up was one the best things that Roman left us with.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from GarnachoCheese in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCWe were fortunate to make CL last season to be honest. This season we would be even more fortunate if we made it. Remember being told at the end of last season how we were a season ahead of schedule as we were expected to make CL this season instead of last? How's that working out? So far we look to barely make Europa the way we are going. I swear if we end up in the conference league again.....Eugh! I'd rather no european football than conference again. Utterly pointless competition for us to be in.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Jah Blair in Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea! Why we got rid of Jackson without a better striker coming in, I'll never know. Not just that, but we should have kept Jackson as a backup to a better striker or simply kept him here while also signing Delap. Jackson had good link up with Palmer, something we miss this season. It seems that this season Cole is struggling to link up with anyone, and nobody else is stepping up enough to help him.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Marc Guehi return?Good old Pep, has he ever been at a club where he hasn't had the choice of the best players? He might be classed as one of the best managers, but he's hardly struggled at clubs when it comes to personnel. Haaland has been a one man team at times for them. How long did it take him to try and make Savinho and Marmoush work before spending another £100m on players. Not a cheque book manager, though.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Sexyfootball in Marc Guehi return?I'm not going to lose my mind over Guehi tbh. Is he going to be a consistent starter for them, even when their injured players return? I genuinely don't know their injury situation when it comes to CBs.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from WeatherMan in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCRemember when these guys came in and said "we don't feel like the club was being run particularly well" or something along those lines. We were serial winners before they took over, now what are we? I'm still unsure what this project is supposed to be.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Jezz in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*I gave these clowns way too much credit, they are even worse decision makers than I imagined. To sack Maresca and make a coaching appointment that actually goes backwards, is just deliberate detriment to the club. I mean, who the hell makes a backwards appointment after a sacking? It makes zero sense. Surely the other investors will look at Egbahli (if it is him) and his decision making and wonder what the hell is going on, then they'll want to pull the plug on their stake. This is absolutely absurd decision making from so called smart business people.

So there's a chance?

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Scott Harris in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*I read a tweet that Maresca personally spoke to Delap and convinced him to come to Chelsea, so to say he had zero input on signings seems odd. Also, he signed a five year contract a little while ago, so things must have gone terribly downhill for this to happen so quickly. I do wonder if this started when Colwill got injured and the club told him to use what he had, because as I said previously, our performances have been very poor ever since the start of the season against Palace.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from General in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*At this point I'd be expecting better from the coach. I think others may have been right in saying that he benefitted last season from the Conference league and the first half of the season being so good, and Palmer being on red hot form at the time. Since the latter half of last season we struggled to get over the line, but did so by the finest of margins. We lost games we absolutely should not have such as the Everton game, but especially Ipswich. It's carried over into this season in which I don't think I've seen us play a good game outside of Arsenal and Barcelona. Even the home game against a poor Liverpool team took us until extra time to beat them.
From the start of the season until now, I've been unimpressed with almost every game we've played so far, including the CL games. I don't understand the reasons for this, but whatever it is we shouldn't be struggling so much. Granted, the quality we have up top isn't amazing, but we still have good enough quality to be doing far better against teams like Sunderland and Brighton at home, Leeds, and a terrible Bournemouth at home. We are dropping points where we should absolutely not be. Not to mention struggling to defend, especially against long balls. This is a coaching issue, and it's an issue that is not being addressed.

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from The Rising Sun in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCAnother season where we sit back and watch Man City and Arsenal challenge for the league. Doesn't it get embarrassing for this ownership to watch other clubs compete for the title knowing you pissed money up the wall to end up further and further away from the league challengers? I know I'm sick and tired of it. They weren't impressed by how the club was being run before, let's not forget that. Imagine them actually saying that and now witnessing what we've become four years down the line under their ownership?

Sunspear_88 got a reaction from Gyekeb4real in Jackson transferWhy did they think it was a good idea to bring in Delap, a striker who had a single decent season at relegation fodder, and get rid of Jackson who had scored 15 non-pen goals for us in his first season, and 10 goals last season. Sure, he would miss chances and he's not Haaland, but with the scarcity of strikers out there, along with this ownership's reluctance to spend money on a top striker, it would made the most sense to have kept him here alongside Delap. Goals aside he also linked up well with certain players, and his movement off the ball and his hold up play were exactly what we could be using this season. Another brainfart from the so called football experts we have running the club.
