  1. The problem is the same across all the footballing authorities, FA, UEFA, FIFA, they are all utterly clueless. Take the recent Liverpool v Man Utd matches for instance, United fans chanting constantly about Hillsborough, and none of it nice, and yet Liverpool are charged with illicit chants! The same thing here with Costa, so easy to compare with Suarez. Both very talented and passionate players and yet both misunderstood by the FA who are bewildered when south americans act so passionate. The FA claim to promote foreign players in one way but when they err the FA wash their hands with them and punish them for not being english! The long and short of it all is this, we have outdated authorities who have no clue of the modern game, and the sooner this is changed across all boards, the better.
  2. I think Chelsea are simply suffering from over egos. You have had some wonderful young lads playing for you, but for one reason or another, they have gone to other clubs and done well. Chelsea have no commitment to the youth policy, look at Ryan Bertrand for example. For Chelsea its all about spending, buying the so called best players, and look what you have, you have players, performing or not, getting a luxury lifestyle, sure, having money to spend is nice, but what Mourinho has now is nothing but average players on huge wages. Chelsea dont have that local lad to instill that passion, that local lad to say "feck your wages, i was born here". Get that into your club and you will be fine, or stick with your local lad from brazil and struggle. If your club ever gets this local talent lot into your team, you could be dangerous, but as things stand, that local lad on £50 quid a week cannot play as we have an out of form £300,000 player going to waste! Its a sad state of affairs here.
  3. The problem Chelsea have is this. They are not used to these problems! Mourinho in charge, world class players, indeed a world class squad, and not since Roman took over has anyone seen these kind of problems, indeed, many Chelsea supporters are amazed its happening at all, especially with Mourinho in charge. Who would have thought confidence would be a problem? Well look at things from an outside standpoint. Did winning the league last season raise Mourinhos arrogance levels to even greater heights? I am talking with regards to his relationship with Roman. The fact is, nobody knows, but we can all imagine, based on this season alone with regards to Mourinho's attitude to the officials, it wouldnt be out of his character to make demands. And of course, Roman flexed his muscles and refused whatever he asked. Bearing in mind, Jose has just managed a team of Real Madrids calibre, his confidence level must be sky high. And to be brought crashing back down to earth by Roman would have hurt. And so Jose has got on with his task this season, being refused all he asked with Roman pre season, determined to show his worth. And look what has happened. Constant bans, referee's no longer intimidated by him, his players although putting in a shift, are nowhere near the levels we all know they can get to and the press are now no longer on his side, they simply think of him as an arrogant joke. Now taking this into consideration, confidence has never been a problem with Chelsea, and yet now it is, wonder why? I have gave a guess as to why, and the sooner Jose realises this, he can eat humble pie, realise the club is bigger than him, and get on with what he does best.
  4. I couldnt agree more, £49 million for a lad who runs fast! I look forward to seeing him fall fast.
  5. In fairness, as long as every rival club has that big player playing for them, they will get stick until they retire! Everyone of us Liverpool fans took the piss out of Lampard, Fat Frank the lot, but when all is done and dusted, they were great players, nice gentlemen off the pitch, and a pleasure to meet. The same with Mourinho, when he was first at Chelsea, he was scum, he left, then I respected him, he came back, hes now scum again! Its nothing personal! its a rivalry thing! I have the uttermost respect for many players, but I will show it when they are no longer playing! John Terry being one of them, as long as he still plays, to me, he is filth! Why? because he will stop my team from scoring against them! However, when he is no longer playing, I like many supporters will say what Chelsea supporters have been saying for years, yeah he is class. And in the future will be in my best england 11. Before Roman, Chelsea were not a blip, my most hated players were Schmeichal, Keane, Ian Wright, Tony Adams, but now they are class players. John Terry will be in the same mould. Respect is earned, and players like Lampard, Gerrard and Terry deserve all our respect, as they are, and will be remembered, as GREAT players.
  6. I dont think there is an agenda against Chelsea. I just simply think its the media having nobody to pick on. However, as long as anybody who is anybody picks up what the media says and broadcast it across forums around the world, and remember, it only takes one person to do this, the media constantly wins. Some nobody can sit there, like many of us on many forums, and slander one person, this is what the press do, they pick one person, and go to hell on them. And before you know, everybody everywhere is talking about a nothing subject. The power of the media is simple, they say something contraversial and somebody, anybody, will quote it. And before you know it, its an issue.
  7. So generally, you have no argument? Keep waving that flag, its free after all.
  8. Roman came, bought everything including supporters ( flags included ) and is still short changed. If you consider yourself a big club, then why is it you cannot produce talented young players? I dont mean buy them, i mean produce them. Take that young lad of the street and make him a world beater? The answer is simple. You are a club that buys. Throw money at a problem. Every top club has a player that has a given player that has talent, for example, take Man Utd. Welbeck, sold for £16 million. Chelsea cannot say they same. The youth players have little to no value to your club, Ryan Bertrand. How good was he? and how much did he go for? Your club have a youth set up but I have to ask, why? I see many of you supporters willing the lads to succeed, but they have no chance. The reporter is right in what in he says. Generally, if you have money, what else matters??
  9. lol. So it was because John Terry sacked his press agent that the racist agenda began? Scraping the barrel?
  10. Suarez is no more racist than John Terry, at least in Suarez' case there was no proof. He had no time to get his story right unlike Evra who said he called him a racist term 12 times, then it was 8, then 4 then come the case a couple of times. Whereas Terry had Youtube clips showing exactly what he said. However Suarez was (not) so clearly in the wrong. The comment about the death threats being an issue, like the one where Anders Frisk was threatened by Chelsea fans which made him retire. The hypocrisy is astounding.
  11. Brendan Rodgers was charged. He was fined £8,000 for his comments.
  12. Kharhaz replied to Veeria's topic in General Chelsea FC
Why worry? its in your hands isn't it? Funniest thing you lot wrote all year. You claim its up to you to go to Anfield and thrash Liverpool and yet all you could do is win 1-0 against Swansea, and that is with them down to 10 men. AND even then you were panicking. You lot have no chance, all Maureen has done is blame the players when you have lost and claimed personal credit when he has won, and you lot have fallen for it. The genius isn't a genius at all, he is no better than rafa, in fact, and im guessing many of you would agree, your best manager was RDM, he offered class as well as respect, so its in not a surprise you got rid and forgot. I can imagine your replies to this post, you lot know best, which is why you lot claim no respect. You had one good manager, and he is soon forgotten. Are we worried about Chelsea? no more than we are worried about a boil on the ass.
  13. I get the whole "enough" idea regarding Hillsborough, but the reason why money is consistently put into this fund is to ram it down peoples throat. 96 Innocent people died because the people who are paid to protect those 96 didn't. I appreciate the post your mod put up, it summed it up. I appreciate the "Hillsborough again?" posts being posted, but you have to understand, 96 innocent people were killed, and the blame is squarely at those who were there to protect them. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to pass it on to the Liverpool supporters. The lengths they went to were ridiculous, I have seen on this thread the "drunk" responses, they tested dead kids in the hope of finding some alcohol level to pin this on them. Now imagine this was your kid, your 12 year old going to a match, and he is killed due to circumstances, but rather than circumstances being the culprit, it was the people who are there to protect them. They let them down, the incompetence of the know nothing killed them, does this offer condolence? or help? no, of course it doesn't, now take into account these people are now trying to make out your child was drunk and caused the problem themselves. THIS HAPPENED, they actually tried to place as much blame on kids as the adults, they tried every trick in the book to pin the blame on anyone but themselves. It breaks my heart to read ignorant posts on any forum, the reason why Hillsborough is being forced down your throat, and why the constant cries for justice are given are simply because families were destroyed, and the Sheffield police blamed it on everyone but themselves. They more or less got away with murder, this enquiry will relieve those families of the injustice they have suffered. To just have a national voice of "MY SON/DAUGHTER wasn't drunk at 12 years old and should be here now !" It just breaks my heart how much they have suffered.
  14. I am disheartened. I have met many Chelsea fans I have enjoyed a drink with. However the nastiness, its, well, its wrong. I always think a minority of fans nasty, every team have them, but when a post advocating people wanting justice is everything but the reason. 96 people were murdered, and yet you lot think meh, its Liverpool. I could never think that way. And when it comes to light that justice was robbed from those families, all you lot can do is say, "we are always the victim" or when it comes to the best posts, "heysel". You make me sick. How any human being could think that way is ill. You post on here so many sick responses, and so many people like them. Many posters I had some respect for. Its sick. Im not here to berate you, but I will say this, I could never, ever in my life have any kind of respect for you people. You are vile.
  15. I will be honest, I cannot remember the Hazard shout. But you are right, some have been called and some haven't.
  16. How is that delayed? look at the stamp and time it with the reaction, that was a penalty. Liverpool have been awarded the most penalties as we are the most attack minded team in the premiership alongside city. However, I wont deny the diving. The Sturridge one against Vidic was shameful, I hate diving in any form. Lets not forget, Drogba was one of the worst for diving, but it doesn't detract the fact that every team have them, and if it goes against us we are wrathful, if it goes for us, we laugh it off. But I digress, my point was about Liverpool not having all the luck in the world. Decisions have gone against us, we have had injuries, it hasn't all been one way.
  17. I think we have some of the worst referees in the game. Against certain clubs, many referees seem to have an agenda to screw them. One thing that was a given, before fergies retirement, united had some of the dodgiest decisions given to them, now we are seeing a fairness across the board. EVERY TEAM is getting screwed by certain refs. The problem is, no referee is ever called into question. With ferguson, they were demoted to lower league football, but every other club had to suffer the poor decisions. Now, every club is suffering. I understand mistakes being made, with Sturridge against Vidic, it was a clear dive, but at the time of play the ref couldn't tell. Then take into account why Mourinho was sent off, I don't understand that one, that's not a mistake, that's vindictive. I don't think our refs should be accountable, I just simply think we need better refs.
  18. Wow, really? Ok,first of all we have had constant injuries. We started the season with just Sturridge up front because of the daftness of Suarez. Then when Suarez came back, Sturridge got injured and we had to continue with just one striker. Luis Enrique and Lucas have pretty much been write offs this season due to injuries.Daniel Agger was injured for a while, as was Gerrard, as was Coutinho. What Liverpool have done is adapted. The players that have come in have performed. Maybe this is why you think we have had it all our way. Also lets not forget the decisions that have cost us games, we scored a perfectly legit goal against city by Sterling, which was ruled out for offside, when it clearly wasn't. We should also have had a penalty against you lot at Stamford Bridge, but that wasn't given, then the FA Cup match against Arsenal where once again Webbs affinity with screwing us over denied us yet another penalty. We have had our run of bad luck, we have just got on with it.
  19. I remember his comment when we signed Andy Carroll for £35 million and he commented about daft transfer fees. This coming from a player who cost £30 million many years before ! The guy is a legend in his own mind.
  20. There are times when you Chelsea lads sound like the bitters. You make me laugh you lot, but at times i just wonder at your bitterness. We have Sturridge, you got Torres, why so bitt.... oh wait, ok carry on...
  21. Not at all, I read this forum regularly, and im not a rat. I like many of the posters here, they speak sense, but I cannot go without throwing in some support for my team.
  22. Weaknesses? Like what? Suarez carrying us? we started the season without him, and you lot were bemoaning Sturridge being on form ! When he came back, he formed a lethal partnership with Sturridge. Now Sturridge is injured we are now a one man team ! We have coped without Coutinho, Enrique, Gerrard, Suarez and Sturridge all season long, in the meantime giving youngsters a chance who haven't looked out of place, and still, we have weaknesses. If these are our weaknesses, then im happy with them. I can only guess the weakness mentioned is money spent on over rated players, then yes in that, I can agree.
  23. I would say that speaks more about you and your loyalties rather than your commitment.
  24. Falcao was never rumoured to be joining our club. EVER. Rafa signed Sicknote because he lost our best midfielder and had to replace him.
