Well, another weekend and another defeat. Almost getting predictable now, isn't it? Quite frankly, guys, I'm genuinely worried for the future of this club. Something has gone badly wrong.. I hate to be a ''Debbier Downer'', but somebody has to say it as it is.. This is no longer just a blip. This is turning into a major, major problem. The real thing that frustrates me more than anything else is that most fans seem to have settled for a mid table finish. I mean, what the hell!? We're the Champions of England for God's sake! We shouldn't even be contemplating a mid table finish. I couldn't believe my eyes today when I read one post on here that seemed to glorify finishing in between 10th and 15th place... The truth is, we have to turn and corner and fast. So, how do we achieve that?.. Sacking Jose? Would that help? I doubt it. Because the truth is he's still the best man for the job, and I truly believe that the vast majority of the players have no problem with him... So, the question remains, what do we do to improve? It's not as though we can clear out all the under performing players, as that way we wouldn't even have enough men to build a five-a-side team!.. Honestly, I think this is the end for Jose, which is sad. Because I truly don't think he's to blame for any of our problems (save for initiating the long running Eva debacle).. So, what has caused our drastic slump? Not strengthening in the transfer window? Losing players with big personalities like Drogba and Cech? Campaigns against us? Eva? Maybe all of those things put together... But the question isn't what caused this disaster. The question is...how do we solve it?

If (by some miracle) Roman avoids pulling the trigger, then all we can do is stand behind our manager. Continue to sing his name loudly and defiantly, show the footballing world what the very meaning of the word loyalty is!..

Just remember, whatever happens...we are Chelsea. We all stand together in the sun...now we must do the same through the rain... Keep the faith.

KTBFFH.

Bride the refs, there is some old school thinking.

Indeed. I'm sure refs could do with some love. Importing lovely women from abroad and marrying them off to the refs would certainly change their attitudes toward us.

We sign four top class players in January, win the Champions League and the season is deemed a success.

Or we just stumble up to mid-table, accept a season without Champions League football and hope that throwing huge money at players and their clubs next Summer will set us right next season.

Either way the Board’s business plan looks like it's done for.

Wasn't that long ago. I read that Juve used to be sponsored by Audi & hooked up the refs w/ some Audi's so they could get to point a to point b. Checkout this *.pdf file if you want more info. So in the end, it didn't work for Juve cause they got caught. What is the saying? If you ain't winning if you ain't trying & it's only cheating if you get caught.

I was trying to put my finger on what is the difference between now and last year.

Unfortunately the problem is at both ends of the pitch. For every goal less we've not scored, we have conceded 1 more, compared to this time last year.

For me the first thing we have to do is every thing we can to stop conceding, it might not be pretty and we still might not win but we badly need 3 or 4 clean sheets in a row. Admittedly it dosnt help when the opposition often seem to have their best games against us but that just goes with being Champions.

In the past, the fans played their part in pressuring the referee. Whatever happened to the old songs ' whose your the father?' Closely followed by 'whose the w**ker in the black' or 'you bent bar steward'. Today we just shrug our shoulders accept the decisions complain on sites like here after the match, leaving the manager after the match to voice his opinion.

While I (kinda) understand what you're saying, you seem to be missing the overall point here. The thing is, we shouldn't be needing help from the referee. We should be whacking some of the teams we've dropped points to this year 3 or 4 nil (Southampton, Newcastle, West Ham, Crystal Palace, etc, etc).

Who knows, it's jist a bit boring now. José needs to change personnel and soon. Costa isn't doing it right now and our central midfield is toothless. I think we should keep thr same back four as yesterday for few morr games so theu can become comfortable with one another. No point keep switching players to try make things work as it is doing the opposite. Keep a stable first 11 with maybe traore as striker to see how he gets on. We haven't enough strength in depth to consistently swap players around.

I may be wrong, but isn't there a 3 player buy limit in January? I would suggest looking at our loanees and maybe bring back a couple. Victor Moses is the first to come to mind.

Where do we go? My god what a question, every week I've been thinking "this is it" expecting us to make some big fight back but no, it's just not happening. I really don't think sacking Jose is the solution but it's a decision I think the club will make. Since Jose left the last time I think we've been like a patched up warrior, even though there were some wonderful times that I wouldn't change for the world we really didn't dominate quite like we should have.

I find it a bit strange how people talk about our results as if we're the only top team who'll go through this patch this season. Does no one else think the other teams, I.e. the man utds, city, arsenal and liverpool won't go through bad spells and drop points? There is a long way to go yet, but i am just fed up of hearing the media and other fans mentioning our bad form as if we will be thr only ones to experience it this season. Other teams will drop points for sure, even if it doesn't seem like it yet. I still expect us to pick up a good amount of points while others drop a good amount of points.

First and foremost - and this should have happened some 10 games ago - the youth should be playing. Traore, Kenedy, RLC, Rahman + Willian, Zouma, Oscar.

These players need to be kept far away from the starting XI: Diego Costa, Falcao, Matic, Ivanovic, Hazard (yes, him), Fabregas.

Also - at this point I think Mikel should be starting over Matic. Not spectacular, but he is way more reliable and he makes me feel much calmer.

And in winter - sell some, buy some and bring some players back from loan.

Deluded, this isnt a slump in form, a slump in form for a top team is a month max. This is a major problem, and i personally would take 10th. This carries on all season and we may be relegation threatened.

It's not just the points dropped and form, it's how many games we have lost in comparison to where the season is.

City and Arsenal lost 7 league games the whole of last season, we have lost 7 already and it's barely November.

It's a not a blip in form that all the top teams will go through, it's a massive rut.

Whilst agreeing with you that on paper we should be battering teams, the answer was more tongue in cheek reply about the refs.

Like it or lump it though, we do need a little help from the refs. Its now become far too easy to make a bad decision against the team, it can almost be seen as 'badge of honour' to have done so, the media don't call them out when an unjust decision is made. Where is the Graeme Poll article today in the Mail about the non penalty issue for example? If it was a Costa crimes or steward being 'assaulted' it gets an headline. WE are not liked as a club and are possibly now not getting the rub of the green.

As for the team itself, we actually need to go back to basics, defend better , get more bodies in the box when we attack and get crosses in. We are far too static in the box , no one makes a near post run. This comes down to the manager and coaching staff. Maybe use more than the basic fourteen players we have been flirting around with. Give RLC a run of a guaranteed 5 games no matter what, to see if he can do what he is hyped up to do. Freshen things up with a change of formation every now and then, at present we are seeing none of the tactical genius that Jose is supposed to be.

I think it's time to admit we are in a crisis. This is beyond belief at the moment.

Almost a third of the season gone and we are 3 points above the relegation zone.

Something is severely wrong behind the scenes and we need to iron it out pronto. Roman won't sit about and watch this much longer.

I hope Jose is given full support in the January window.
