Not enough attacking players!
Ranieri was a very good scout, he put teams together well and yes he made a few mistakes, what manager doesn't? I will never forget the tears in his eyes when Bridgy scored against Arsenal, he looked like he lived and breathed our club. I dont think he deserves critisism although I never agreed with a lot of his tinkering and mainly his playing a massively lazy and out of form Jimmy when Crespo looked a far better option. that said he was a bloody nice bloke

CC Semi Final 2nd Leg - vs. Wycombe
No handshake as he came off but cameras showed a handshake 5 minutes later, Jose seemed happy with him in the interview.

He only done it to spite me, I wonder if I do 3-0 in the final if the Ba***rd will do it again

CC Semi Final 2nd Leg - vs. Wycombe
Dont worry mate I wanted us to score more, and Sheva to get his hat trick I've lost a lot on Chelsea lately so I only had 3 quid on at 18 to 1 anyway. Im just happy Sheva got MOM and Jose actually praised him

CC Semi Final 2nd Leg - vs. Wycombe
Great to see Jose's reaction to Sheva's goals, and Drogba too, also Sheva showed what a class geezer he is at half time putting his arm round Dogherty trying to cheer him up for his mistake. he has made some good runs all half and we are much better when Drogs and Sheva are up front together, all we need is Joey back and threading some balls through and we will start to fire. come on boys I'm on 3-0 Sheva first scorer

CC Semi Final 2nd Leg - vs. Wycombe
I cant understand why we have to have a weird talking point showing some more possible unrest, Paulo plays at CB badly and the a young midfielder gets his RB spot...dont get me wrong I'm all for Diarra getting chances and think he is a prospect but not another player out of position at this time.

There is friction at chelsea
Unless the interference stops,i really think Jose will leave. Theres no way in my mind i can see Jose becoming a puppet on a string, being told who to buy,he's to big for that. Suerly Jose will have greater satisfaction building a team of his own choice. He has the possibility to build a great team with huge financial backing, but then again maybe he would become bored with that. I dont think there could be greater satisfaction than building a team on half the budget, then have people looking back and saying, He had the money to buy whoever he wanted. I cant see Jose getting bored with having huge finances availlable, wev'e heard all the buying title stuff and that has not put him off, He is not the type to spend big just because of reputations and thats probobly why Sheva was not actually his choice, thing is its not just the finance, he has said he loves Chelsea and I feel he has a real place in his heart for the team and London in general, he says his kids are happy here and he knows its not great to keep moving them around. No I think he wants to do it with Chelsea and is not foolish enough to want to do it on a tighter budget, the mans a winner and will use everything at his disposal to make Chelsea the best around, I just hope he can sort it out with the Board and bring some team spirit back into the whole club.

It dont matter if its the Sun one I,ve got 3 in that cos I put AC in when he was listed as an Arsenal player, they stay listed with the club they were with when they started the competition.

There is friction at chelsea
Obviously Romans wealth would be a big contribution to the moos or any other fans decision, the thing is Mourinho is one of the best managers alive and has done a great job, he's outspoken and believes almost to much in his own abilities, this is going to make a relationship with someone like Roman very hard as Roman too is a very clever bloke and is used to having things his own way. a straight choice between the two I would have to say Romans money would sway me but that said I dont think it will come to that, I think in the cold light of day these two men have not got to where they are now by cutting off their noses to spite their faces and both will know that with the other in their corner they can have it all, they may have to compramise to do it but if they do, they can make Chelsea what they set out to make them. Roman can go out and get another great manager, he knows that and is probobly toying with it, and the chance that who he brings in would be as good as Jose but Roman doesn't strike me as a chancer and I think he will think about it long and hard and whatever this season brings he will come to the conclussion that he already has the best man for the Job. Jose can go and earn top Dollar anywhere he wants but would he have the backing to build a team as capable of becoming as big as Chelsea are capable of becoming? would he be watching with the feeling that he should have been in control should we push on to Roman/Kenyons expectations, I think so and I think its time they got together and admitted that they to be as big as they would both like, need each other.

A hollow victory but let them feed on scraps do you notice how whenever anyone beats you its hollow because you werent very good. We didnt let you be any good. We played well and could have scored many more. When you beat us 4-1 at anfield was it hollow because we were sh*te and Hyypia was playing with a virus? Was it F***, you took great pleasure in it, was that feeding on scraps? You playing sh*t is something i take as proof that we played well. as for Barca, lets just see. I'm not going to be stupid and think we'll hammer them, but i certainly am not fearing them, we can definately take them over two legs. Theres nothing hollow about your victory mate and I congratulate you and Your manager/team for getting it, however comparing Hyypia with a Virus as a problem to the problems we have at the moment I would say is a bit Hollow. lets agree to disagree eh? I think you beat a well under par team and not that convincingly, you obviously want to take what you can get..baske in it mate, as I said enjoy, Just dont expect me to say you lot were brilliant and can now expect to beat Man Utd and Arsenal just because you caught us in a bad period because unless they suffer some unforeseen crisis they are still miles ahead of you.

RedRob said As for lumping the ball up long to crouch, dont think we did it an unhealthy amount of times. Thought we played some good football for the most part. Certainly fewer long balls than you lot tried, although i'm not sure if it counts as a long ball if it goes nowhere near any of your players. mate you are arguing my side for me, you are spot on we lumped it up like you lot only instead of to a 6 foot 7 beanpole it was to a 4 foot 6 out of form Sweepy who caused you quite a few more problems than he's caused anyone else this season we were bad mate and you were not much better...enjoy

Abramovich goes AWOL
I read Roman was on Business in Russia, surely the bloke hasn't got other commitments? it must be that he's so girly he couldn't look Jose in the eye, they are known to be very bad at confrontations the old Russian Mafia boys, only joking Roman you have a day out on the Yacht mate, it was a crap game anyway

Red Rob, a bit of advice mate, you say you hope you play like that against the mancs? to be honest although its painful, with the team we put out saturday and the form and commitment of the players I think the Mancs may have got 5 or 6 while you lot booting the ball up in the air, were lucky to get a well taken goal buy Kuyt and an unusually well hit shot from the Asbo boy. we played poorly, very very poorly and you at home where your form has been good got an early goal against a really unsettled defense, count your chickens Rob while you can

Mourinho's Untouchables
Ballack has improved lately and in our last game he was one of the best in my oppinion. But that's still a LONG way from being an "Untouchable". For me, the only untouchables are really Cech (when fit), JT and on current form Drogba. Even the midfield players can all be left out of certain games depending on the opposition. I think you could add Riccy to those three and you are spot on, JT and Riccy are a very strong pairing when both are fit and I wouldn't rest either of them against decent opposition.

Johnno nicks a toilet seat
These premiership players are so cossetted, it's like they are sitting on thrones. They have no idea of the everyday realities which bog the rest of us down. I agree, they seem to treat their position as some sort of Conveniance, even though they are Roll models for a lot of the youngsters out there, It drives you Potty

Arsenal v Manchester United
as it happens it was a good game to watch, a fairly even contest with splatters of good football, Van Persie done well for the equaliser I thought and thats how I imagined it would end, I think a rare Fergie mistake opting for a wierd substitution with two left backs instead of with Ronaldo causing problems going forward and tracking back. I was not really bothered about the result as the way things are at the moment at Chelsea with JT out for maybe up to 3 months, Robben injured again, and the lack of back up in central defense I feel there is more chance of Arsenal catching six points up on us than us catching six up on UTD. That said we are injuries aside still the strongest squad in the Prem and we still as I type anyway have the best manager, I think if Jose sorts out the back room problems and concentrates on getting the team spirit back we are capable of doing anything, I would be more upbeat if we brought in a Defender in the next 10 days as I think its plain stupid to throw a third title away because of some possible disagreement between Jose Kenyon Roman, Arneson or whoever that go's something like play who I say or you get no money to buy players, this may not be the case but if it is its bullsh*t. I was not keen on Ben Haim but for a couple of mill on a scale of things I would be happy to have the bloke. not only is it hurting the teams points ratio but players confidence playing out of position must take a knock as well, Essien is so wasted when he has been plying so well, Paulo already out of sorts at center back? If you asked at the start of the season which EPL club would need badly a couple of players come January and which club would have no funds at their disposal to buy, Chelsea would have been no 20 on my list, how has it got to this? on the up side....6 points and we still have to play them, the chance is there, we just have to step up
-
Mechanic or the Car?
I can only answer your question with what I believe...Confidence. there is no other reason a player of his Caliber could lose his touch in such a way. Drogba had a first touch similar to what you are taliking about but once he had settled he showed that he is plenty good enough. Sheva is plenty good enough but not if he only gets 15 minutes at a time to get some form.

Liverpool
I had a bad feeling about this as soon as I saw the team sheat, I always have a bet on Chelsea games unless I fear we will lose, I diddn't bet today. I am pretty down now and not directly because of this result, we have not looked like Champions very often this season and not just on ability but on comitment, Its seems too many players are performing badly and not enough (maybe 2 or 3) look up for the challenge. Jose worries me with his stubborn attitude concerning Sheva, ok he's been injured but with 18 minutes gone and 2 goals down I think an experienced striker would have been more help to the cause than someone who looked out of his depth like Kalou, I am not digging Soloman out as I rate him and Mikel for the future but they just dont look good enough to be regulars in the EPL champions team. Frank was bad today but Ballack just never seems to have a good game and it amazes me that the midfield has been made to accomodate him all season and he has done little unyet he still is an untouchable to Jose whereas Sheva has played with very little service and no adaptation of system to suit him unyet struggles to get games. Positives for me were Cech getting his first game back, Sweepy looking better today than Robben or Kalou do against the big teams and thats about it. Negatives for me were..Robben injured again, Paulo made to look silly again because he's out of position, Mikel and Kalou dont look good enough yet, Ballack does he even care?, Jose does he care more about being proved right than doing whats best for the team?. my big concern now? If as we all would like Arsenal beat Man Utd Tomorrow and do us a favour, will we be struggling to hold on to second place or even third in this form as a five or six point gap above Arsenal/Liverpool with us playing like this looks a bit shakey, If we are not to pull ourselves together then maybe the best result tomorrow would be a Draw as Chelsea going into the CL next season from a 3rd or 4th spot just would not feel the same.
