Talk of Alex now quite probably irrelevant
He's been named in the Brazilian squad to play Chile here in G?teborg and Ghana in Stockholm. Might go depending on the time of England v Ben Sahar

The FA Cup Semi Final Draw and venues
I thought Wembly was going to be used for the semis - but maybe that's next year. Now it's Blackburn expect Stadium of Light, Sunday with a 12:45 k.o. Utd at Villa Park with a Saturday 17.00 ko. Got the whisper from D Dean.

We got through, so
the papers have to drag the so-called standoff between RA and JM back to the back pages. Predicitable I suppose but nevertheless tiresome. Can we expect any different? When will they turn on manure again?

The West Ham Summer Sale
The only one I'd look at is Green

Norway Police probe Mikel's transfer....
I just had a quick look at the Norwegian papers and it's nothing to do with Chelsea.

another row with Arsenal
It was nothing - just a crap referee that had no understanding of the conditions the lads were playing in - very windy with driving rain. Actually is was a good game Arse had the first half - we had the second. We actually had the ball in the net, but the ref saw someone offside and he wasn't going to tell anyone else who it was. One similarity was we had a make shift back four, which played well. If we get things right the wealth of home grown talent coming through is unbelievable - most of the reserves last night (like most times they play) are from our youth team. Most of the reserves, except the goalkeeper, are out on loan.

if no premiership title, is the season a failure?
I think we've had an "in between season" or a season to learn lessons which includes every level of the club from RA to PK, JM, the players and us the supporters. Definitely not a failure. I think at times success can make us forget that it's football and in football there are a lot of things you have no control over. If there is one bone I do have it's JM doesn't show enough faith in our youngsters, but maybe next season he'll prove me wrong.

Nine 2 go
Over confidence could just be creeping in. On Swedish TV they reckoned if manure go through in the CL Fergie will pull out all the stops to change Larsson's/Helsingborg's mind and get him to see the season out.

Nine 2 go
Let's hope Sparky can whip-up his troups

It took until March but Tevez has finally scored
And I switched over at 2-0

Ossie
As someone mentioned a year ago, renaming the East stand the Peter Osgood Stand would be a fitting tribute. But the likes of Kenyon, Buck and to some degree Roman have no idea and never will what the man was to our club and its supporters. Lets face it, by today's standards he just didn't sell enough shirts!

Jose's Premiership Medal
Think they're selling Fosters cheap all through the game.

Jose's Premiership Medal
There's a good chance that Alan who owns the Welcome Stranger where Hasting District meet up will be in the Pelican for the Sheffield Utd game (same day as our piss up) so if you're there you can put your questions to him about the medal

Must say I like Disintegration, and don't think RS has lost it at all. The last album (The Cure) was excellent- in fact it's playing now.

Did you have personality issues during this period Loz or just a broad taste in music? Must admit 4, 5, and 7 are excellent

Irritating TV shows and presenters
Swedish football commentators in general who have a tendency to quote Talksport, the Sun and Star as if it was the truth.

What about the Triffids, Hunters & Collectors and I see no one has mentioned the Cure, I suppose many considered them to be Goth nowadays but in 80's RS was still learning to put on his eyeliner and what about Joe Jackson one of the most underrated songwriters going around. Listen to his Night & Day II from a couple of years back the lyrics are pure genius.

Yet another new pitch
Well if they insist on putting the away supporters in the Shed we could knock down the back wall and rip off the roof to let some air and light in.

team for saturday !
Well if he didn't, he did play left back at Blackburn last season

never say never but ....
You're looking too hard - they'll drop points where least expected. They'll drop points to clubs at the bottom of the table. Surprised Manure have not had a player sent off this season
