  1. We go forward by improving our front line. Contrary to popular belief our midfield and defence aren't the problem. We don't even have a threat from the right. Our main striker is 32 suffering from malaria. We're unbalanced and easy to defend against as all our good work is done on the left. We have the awful Kalou STARTING games. He shouldn't even be on our bench let alone in the first 11. We don't need 10 new players. Just 2 will do in January and then you can address things properly in the summer.
  2. He was embarrassing yet again last night. Woeful in every sense of the word. It's as if we're playing with 10 men when he's in the team. None of the players want to pass to him, they only do so as a last resort. He offers nothing and has not one single redeeming quality i.e. speed, guile, shooting or crossing. NOTHING. We're going nowhere fast when somebody as bad as this is starting games for us.
  3. No. The article is rubbish. It highlights goals but doesn't talk about much else. Who cares how badly he plays as long as he gets a tap in eh!?! He scored against Utd in the Charity Shield. A consalation goal when we were already 2-0 down with not much time left. What they conviniently forget to mention is for most of that game he was appalling and probably the worst player on the pitch like he is so often is. You guys may forget all the bad things when he scores a goal but what about the other 89 minutes of the game? Goals against Wigan when we were already 4-0 up and coasting. He scored against Blackpool. A tap in from a yard out. A goal against West Ham when the ball was blazed at him by the rubbish Green from about 2 yards out. Evra must be licking his lips at the thought of facing him next Sunday. He knows Kalou will do nothing. While Ashley will be severly tested by Nani. This is the ridiculous mis-match we have created for ourselves by continuing with this player.
  4. I'd like to face the weakest team please. We were knocked out at the same stage last year with a better squad. We don't have a hope in hell of winning it anyway so the sooner we're out the better. That means we can focus on the league.
  5. Don't simply tell me I'm wrong, tell me why I am wrong. What aspect of his game has improved since joining Chelsea? What does he do better now that he didn't when he first arrived?
  6. Wishful thinking. He'll be lucky to get half as many games by the same stage.
  7. Young? He's 25 years old. You can call a play young if he's 22 or less. Kalou is a fully grown man and his development period has finished. He hasn't improved one iota since he joined in 2006. What makes you think he'll get any better? I personally think he's getting worse.
  8. Fair enough. But he is not Chelsea quality. He plays too much for somebody this bad. We need another good forward/wide man to help Drogba/Anelka. Kalou is not that man. Everybody wants to hide behind this squad role tag for him but he plays about 30-40 games a season with a lot of starts. We need a much better option.
  9. Last season when he scored his first League goal at the end of March you mean? He was useless for most of the season and had a decent last month. I was astonished he wasn't let go in the summer. I guess the club are serious about reducing costs because to not upgrade on this joke of a player would cost too much. I'm looking at Nani play now against Arsenal and he has speed, dribbling and shooting ability and a good cross. Just imagine we had that sort of threat down the right? We would be killing teams. But the club is happy to carry on with this failure who offers nothing but tap ins when we're winning 6-0.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!   Kalou has speed? Dribbling ability AND is also creative? Are you a relative by any chance? He has no speed. He rarely beats players for pace. His dribbling is appalling. Head down running with no guile or speed until he is tackled. He gets through about once every 5 games with a flukey dribble or a lucky ricochet but even then a broken clock is right twice a day. He is NOTHING like you have desrcibed. I would rather see Sturridge or Kakuta play because they will show that they are better than this clown.
  11. What is a player as bad as him doing at a major European club? He is hopeless. Genuinely one of the worst players in the league. He can barely control a football let alone create chances for himself and his teammates. He wouldn't make the bench of our rivals let alone start most weeks like he does for us. This has to be his last season at Chelsea.
  12. Wow, can't believe how good Josh McEachran is. I saw glimpses of his talent in the youth FA Cup final last year. His composure and retention of the ball is amazing, he puts many senior players to shame. He is far and away the best young player at the club and, alongside Patrick Van Aanholt, looks the most likely to make a career for himself at Chelsea.
  13. That is how the team plays more or less anyway, Lampard is more advanced of the 3 midfielders and to the left. That is plan A! Our plan B imo will be a diamon with Benayoun in the 'hole'.
  14. Are you seriously telling me that in the world of football we can't find a better player than Kalou? Salomon f***ng KALOU? That we should put up with him because somebody better may ask for an extra 10k-20k a week despite getting rid of big earners like Deco and Ballack? Hey you can go through my post histroy and see I was one of the people ADVOCATING for one of Joe or Kalou to be moved on in order to open up a space for a much better player. Joe and Kalou are both incredibly poor and should have been let go of a lot sooner. Kalou may work his socks off but he is RUBBISH. If you can't see how much more beneficial it would be to have a better attacking option in his place then there's not much to be said.
  15. Are we really going into another season playing 4-3-3 without a right winger? Anelka is wasted there and seems to drop deeper and deeper every game. Kalou is simply an abomination of a footballer, easily the least talented player at the club. How is he still at here? Does he have nasty pictures of Arnesen or Roman? Ancelotti needs to grow some f*****g balls and demand a right winger if he's going to persist with a 4-3-3.
  16. Looking at the squad currently I'd say we have little to no hope of winning the CL. Not enough good cover in midfield and attack (but we have 10 right backs!). Lampard, Mikel, Essien, Malouda, Drogba and Anelka do not have sufficient cover. If any of them are injured we're screwed. But who cares? I don't care much for that competition and would be estatic at winning the league again.

  18. Why not Ballack? Gets a lot of unfair criticism.
  19. Mikel was identified as a talented young player and at times has been our only avaibale DM so he will get games regardless of form. Malouda was unfairly criticised for much of his early Chelsea career and had problems with injuries. He has been marvellous for 18-20 months, a far better player than Joe Cole. Kalou for most of his Chelsea career has only played as a last resort, that he plays ahead of Joe Cole says a lot surely. How can you demand such crazy money when the coach prefers Kalou to you? It made no sense for the club. Joe Cole, even after 10 games in a row, wouldn't have been any nearer to finding a sustainable level of good form. His whole career has been inconsistent and he plays well in bursts.
  20. If a player is playing badly then you don't keep him on in the hope that he just might come good. Maybe at a lesser club but at Chelsea were the demand for winning is much greater Ancelotti has no time to give Joe 15 games on the trot to get himself into form.
  21. He is much better than both Borini and Di Santo. You obviously haven't seen much of him.
  22. When Bosingwa returns he should go straight back into the team. Now what happens with Ivanovic, Carvalho and Alex? Out of the three I feel Alex is not as talented as the other two. He makes a lot of inidivudal mistakes and his positioning is quite poor from what you'd expect from a top CB. Now Carvalho has become injury prone I think Ivanovic and Terry is our strongest CB pairing.

Like almost every other Chelsea fan I like Joe Cole as a player and person but I don't think this would be a great loss. He is very unreliable in both form and fitness and has lost the little athleticism he had with various injuries. Joe is likely to be a squad player and for the wages being reported then it makes no sense for the club to keep him.
  24. Cech Maicon Lucio Terry Ashley Cole Xavi Essien Lampard Messi Drogba Ronaldo
  25. They always were. Finished group winners ahead of France didn't they? They're a very good team.
