  1. Yuri and yossi have been terrible so far. They are missing every pass they make.
  2. I don't know if anyone else has seen this but check the video on this link. Watching some of the powerful goals that he has on there combined with the touch and precision, how can you not say that he isn't the best striker in the world? I have never seen a Rooney clip with goals like that. He is truly a once in a lifetime player. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/PlayerProfileDetail/0,,10268~28142,00.html
  3. not able to watch. How's that Number 7 shirt look?
  4. If we have a good lead, do you think we will see sturridge before kalou?
  5. Any ideas if Sturridge or Kakuta will be available. Can't see both of them getting in but maybe one.

Screw it. Go get Pato and be done with it.

In the end, I feel that we have to get him this year. He obviously has some interest in coming so that is a huge plus. After this year his price is surely going to go up a great deal. More teams will be go for him and I doubt Roman will pay the price that he will demand in a year or two. If he don't want to miss out on him, this has to be the year.

Enough with the "35 mil is too much for an 18 year old!" You people don't understand. He will be worth at least 50 mil in two years. This could be a huge win-win for Chelsea. He will either be the future of Chelsea for years to come or once his contract is up we make a HUGE profit on him. If he does pan out to be a great player, I'm sure Real Madrid will come calling in about 3 or 4 years.

It seems that the big argument for him staying at Santos is that he would play every game. Why hasn't the option to buy Neymar and then loan him back for a year come up? It seems like the best option. Buy him now, at a much cheaper price than where he will be next year, and let him stay on a loan and get regular time playing. He can stay, try to bulk up, and mature. It's a win-win for both teams.
  10. Picking numbers obviously makes sense, but how do you get to that point. Wouldn't Kakuta and others like Borini pick different numbers from 44 and 45? You would think Kakuta would have taken 10 before Yossi came or even take 7. The club must not allow it.
  11. What is the process of a player getting a certtain number on their shirt? For example, would Kakuta ever change from the number 44? Does he decide he wants to change or does the clubs just decide to give him a special number? Maybe 7? Also, if and when Ramires and Neymar come here, who decides what number they get? I can see Ramires wearing 4 and Neymar wearing 9.
  12. I know Frank is a legend, but lets be real. If you expect him to be playing (at a Chelsea level) when he is in his upper thirties and lower forties, you are crazy.
  13. Kakuta! Kakuta! Kakuta! The future of this team.

Any new updates on Neymar. I saw two days ago in an espn article about Ramires that Carlo was still working on getting Neymar. I think signing Yossi, Ramires, a player to replace Belletti, and Neymar would be a good transfer window. Maybe even another defender for depth if Ricardo leaves.
  15. He hasn't been playing with the squad yet, but Kakuta has been unreal for France. Huge talent!
  16. I would have thought there would have been a couple more signings by now by Chelsea. After the end of last season, we knew there would be many that would be leaving and that Carlo had the go ahead to spend a decent amount of money. The only thing we have is Yossi and a maybe from Ramires. Where is the big name signing that we were supposed to bring in? Aguero, Pato, Neymar, Oezil? These are guys that, with the right bid, can be had. It just seems like we haven't pulled the trigger.
  17. Looks like we signed him! Nice

Everyone is missing the main points here. Yes, Neymar is very young, but these days teams are snatching up the talent before they get to be 20-23 like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were. Also, if Neymar is signed, he will not come in and play on the first team. Sturridge shouldn't be worried because Neymar isn't gonna come in and take his job. He will be preparing to play along side Sturridge in the future. Can you imagine Sturride and Neymar next to Lukaku (if we get him too) in the future. Chances are pretty high that he will loaned out to a lower level Premier League team. I have watched Neymar play many teams. He has an unbelievable talent for finding the net and is only 18. His potential is sky high and is worth the risk.
  19. The third kit has to be a light color right? We have two dark colors already.
  20. Looks like it is official. Signed the yound Czech defender. Looks like a good signing. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1292786/Chelsea-sign-Czech-teenage-hotshot-Tomas-Kalas-5million-deal.html
  21. This would be another bad signing. What happened to adding good, young players. If this is true we have signed to older, ok players. One 27 and one 30 years old. Not the direction to go.
  22. At this point, Ozil has to be the guy we go after first. I think he would even be a better option than Aguero. He can play at the tip of the diamond or as a winger. He would be a cheaper option and also has the youth that we are looking for. His first touch and ball skills are better than 90 percent of the guys playing in the world cup. His vision and passing is also great. I think the best part about him is that fact that he plays like he is 27 or 28 not like a 21 year old. Oh, and he likes Chelsea; that doesn't hurt either.
