I doubt Mourinho would use Essien at RB unless Azpilicueta and Ivanovic are both out injured which is most unlikely. Perhaps in midfield he might get an opportunity to fill in but I don't believe Mourinho will guarantee him first team football on a regular basis.

Mourinho recognises Ramires as a player who will give his all and because of his stamina is a valuable asset. He is a box to box midfielder who helps out in attack and defence. After his contact with Mourinho he said " I am even more motivated after finding out what he wants to do to work with me".

Jose favoured the 4-2-3-1 formation with Real Madrid He won the Champions League with Inter Milan using that formation. I don't see why he would not use it with the current Chelsea squad especially if we sign a world class CF, DM and CB.

He is the best striker in the Premiership, a classic finisher who would be ideal for Mourinho's 4-2-3-1 formation. However, coming from a Spanish source it's unbelievable. The question is if he were available would Jose want him?

What I've seen of the two players Van Ginkel comes across as a more polished player than De Bruyne. I believe he'd be a better option for central midfield. He is a box to box midfielder who can attack and defend. He's got speed, power and endurance. The major issue with him would be playing time as he wants plenty of first team action to ensure his place in the Dutch squad.

Great to return to the forum now that Jose is back at the helm.

Only time will tell how good Neymar will turn out. Despite his talent, I don't see him as another Messi. Neither do I see him see him coming to the Premiership. I believe he will end up with Barcelona.

South American players experience difficulty in adapting to Premier football. No doubt Neymar would take time to adapt but would eventually settle in.

I take it that if you don't like certain players such as Gerrard and Ferguson you don't want them to play for our national team. In other words, you won't support our national team if they are selected.
