No name players we've bought and turned out to be awesome
there was this french guy. used to be a defender, played anywhere in the back. gained his full international debut while at chelsea, won everything there is to win in england with chelsea. and then off he went to some barbaric north london club to become sh*t again. can't remember his name.

2009/2010 shirt 'leaked'
a picture of the 3rd kit was released on the cover of a local sports paper, probably by mistake. i suppose they got a load of pictures for future use and they were careless and/or stupid. anyway, here it is. i think it's the best looking shirt this year.

£44 Million Bid for Ribery?
tell that to hoeness ;) "If a player comes to ask for a transfer, we will listen to him and consider his appeal," Hoeness told Bild. "However, no one has been in touch with us yet, and I can only insist I will not answer the phone if there are clubs willing to make such bids. "You will not even get a leg of Ribery for Å45million."

Tom Henning Ovrebo
he was the ref for the barca-lyon 5-2. 1 yellow to barca, 8 to lyon, juninho sent off... you can check his games here: http://www.soccerbase.com/refs2.sd?refid=309 i think the guy loves his cards. also, we don't have much luck with scandinavian refs against barca. frisk in 2000 and 2005, hauge in 2006, we finished all three match with 10 men...

Premiership Red Card Quiz
well, loz said that it's hard to guess so i would say the player in question was never a big name player and a) out of the game since 10 years or so or B) played the last few seasons in the championship. a wild guess would be someone from birmingham city, they could play quite dirty under steve bruce as i remember. can't name any brummies player though since melchiot and forssell moved on :)

PL, Spurs vs Chelsea, 21/03/09, 1500
according to the OS: Ricardo Carvalho is unavailable due to an ankle injury so Alex returns to the side. There are no changes in midfield so Michael Ballack is expected to continue in the holding role with John Mikel Obi unavailable.

FA Cup Semi Final, Arsenal vs Chelsea, 18/04/09, 17:15 BST
7 times. i looked it up yesterday they put us out every year during ranieri. that's four painful memory. before then in '73, '52 and '50. in '47 we won the second replay after two 1-1s. we won also in '39, '31 and '15. the only other lost match was in '30.

PL, Aston Villa vs Chelsea, 21/02/09, 1245 GMT
hopefully they'll play on their left side, as usual. paolo will face milner or agbonlahor probably, depending on villa's formation.

Bosingwa off the hook
they can't. under the fifa rules the fa can't take action if the incident is seen at the by the match officials. the linesman clearly saw it, so that's it. stupid rule if you ask me.

Benitez rips in to Fergie
- THE SHED END
two sheds jackson springs to my mind ;)- Redknapp joins Chelsea
well, that must be a tendency here in eastern europe... i guess having a russian oligarch as the owner doesn't help to get popular in the region. actually i think our pundits are worse, because they love liverpool the most  due to the hungarian youngsters(németh and gulácsi) playing in their reserves. on top of this, the vast majority of them knows f**k all about football... i always use the mute button if i have to watch our game on the telly :/ though usually we go to a local scottish pub and watch it on sky. nice place, the only drawback is that the owner is a celtic supporter...- The lazy bunch that is my national team
friendlies are not a problem for us. for example last august we beat italy 3-1. fantastic, but it doesn't really matter when we're capable to lose against malta in a qualifying match... anyway, we clearly were the better side yesterday, so huray for the boys and koeman(erwin, the older brother), but i'm afraid as usual this won't last long. - THE SHED END
