milner simply isn't a winger, he's too slow for that. he shined at villa when o'neill played him as a central midfielder, that's the position he's suited to. now i'm not saying that chelsea should by him, but he shouldn't be dismissed based on his performance on the WC. there are better reasons, for example he's just not good enough (yet) to waltz into the chelsea midfield, we have ample players for the positions and we also got some really promising youngsters with more potential than him.
