The material is much like the England kit, it looks like the cotton kit we used to wear in the 60's and 70's. Its also tailored to fit across the chest so it fits like a glove. July 24, 200915 yr Yeah Umbro have been guilty of overcomplicating their kits in recent years, but this year's City one is bang on. Enjoy it while it last though bm, as you'll get a mega deal with Adidas or Nike before too long, and can join the ranks of clubs with average identikits.

I know they are owned by Nike, but they are producing the best stuff out there Its like tim says, they just keep it simple. And even when they do something a little different, like Everton's away last year (white w/ navy and grey stripe) they make it look so god damn classy. Add that too Rangers from a couple of years ago with the Chevron of color around the color, the Chelsea centenary w/ gold shoulders, and the England from 2006 as some of the nicest kits I have ever seen Those City kits are gorgeous. July 24, 200915 yr I agree those City kits look pretty good, but for a few years I was pretty happy with the Adidas kits when I compared them with the crap Umbro was coming up with. Not anymore, though. Maybe Adidas has ditched looks for functionality, but the current shirts are just a big joke. Up until now I'd been pretty satisfied with the Adidas home shirts and with a few of the away shirts as well, but this season they look just horrible.
