PloKoon13
Could be worse, I guess. I'd rather have Arsenal than Everton atm. Although I'd rather have Everton because Arsenal would probably stand a better chance of beating Man Ure...
Tim
Interesting. Can you imagine the hype there will be surrounding the final, if we both make it through and United are still on course for the 'magnificent quintuple.' I hope we stuff the Gooners and then ruin the United dream. So overrated and overhyped it's not funny and the chance to shut them up would be absolutely brilliant. Not looking past the semi though. Whoever makes it through it will be a tough game.
Gem
We were unlucky to lose to them at our place, lets hope we can put that right - COME ON YOU BLUES!
Ruh Buh Juh
We were never going to get Everton, let's face it. Man U or Arsenal were a certainty. Will be a great game though! If this game is a draw, will it be replayed? If so, will it be held at Wembley again? See that's why I don't like how the Semi's are played at Wembley. The whole point of the FA Cup (like the Carling Cup) is to build up to Wembley, but you can get to Wembley by just reaching the Semi's now. It doesn't make sense! Virosh
Not something we wouldn't expect. On present form and barring any injuries, I think we will stuff Arsenal. The final, though, would be a different story and I hope the boys make it one with a happy ending. Looking forward to the game, obviously, and very confident indeed. Paul Seery
I am dissapointed that we did not get Manchester United in the semi-final, but am glad that we might be facing Arsenal instead. It is always a great occasion when Chelsea play Arsenal, especially in kockout competitions. On current form Chelsea would start of as favourites but Arsenal is Arsenal and as they have shown in the league on their day they can beat the major teams. In the context of the FA Cup we have not beaten Arsenal since them since the 1946-47 season. On that day we beat them 2-0. We are due a win against them in this competition :)

loz
Not sure why you are disappointed at avoiding United Paul. Whether people like it or not United are clearly the best team in the country right now. I know some people are claiming they are not as good as come arfe makingout and they have been riding their luck however if it is luck they are riding then luck is one lucky lady as this is the longest shag I have ever heard of! United are on a great run and that breeds confidence, the sort of confidence that means you can often flatter to deceive and still win games with a bit to spare. hell we should know all about that, we regularly did it in the two title wining seasons. Under Hiddink we are putting together a run of results and if that carries on then we will also start to once again believe that we are a team that can be beaten however that is still a way off and I would rather put off playing United till the end of the season (of course we need to deal with Arsenal first and by then the FA Cup may be their only chance of silverware, as it could be for us, so they will not be easy to beat). BlueYank
Arsenal are always a dangerous team because they're capable of brilliance, but I have to like Chelsea's chances a lot. I think Chelsea's toughness in the midfield will be a huge advantage, especially with Essien back. And while I'd love to see Everton knock off the Mancs, nothing would be sweeter than beating United in the final.
Nibs
I heard on the radio this morning that we haven't beaten Arsenal in an FA Cup tie for 62 years! That's a record that I would like to see come to an end.

TheWestwayWonder
Now that the ship is righted, and using that record, hopefully we can frame this one as a revenge mission and go out to rattle the gooners. I know they have recently got back to scoring again, but I still think theyre low on confidence, and this will be a chance to show how different Hiddink's Chelsea is to Scolari's against the big boys. Not looking past Hull of course, who I hope knock them off first I feel like our chances are better against Man Utd in a single game rather than a 2 leg semi final (or is it a one off game for the semis too?) In any event, I would rather be facing Everton on the big day, but again, maybe revenge will be in mind for our players. And hopefully by that time they are out of Europe and there wont be a massive media furore. Id rather have the best chance of winning the comp, but to go through Arsenal and Man Utd would certainly make it all the sweeter.
